  1. Is that the same as 'The Richard Madeley/Stuart Hall' shopping bag?
  2. Foresight is better. He missed the call and team GB suffered for it. What next for Lyon? He's tried the young guys, then the old guys. Seems like a ditherer.
  3. 100% agree. Big mistake by Lyon, cost team GB a medal. Big Ron for me.
  4. Gonna sneak up the Taff in a 'Boomer' and loose off a couple of missiles instead of fireworks.
  5. Santa Claus just been to my house. Lots of pressies. Good Finnish mags and pics, not to mention choco, glasses etc. Will communicate via the normal chanels. Mr and Mrs Pugwash
  6. Pete. Glad to hear that you are introducing him to Speedway. We'll send you some Pirates gear for him. May as well support a decent team. Have a great christmas. Mr & Mrs P
  7. As an all round package, Wroclaw would be my choice. With the introduction of Torun and Gorzow I can't see it reappearing on the calender in the forseeable future.
  8. Nice mention and bit of praise for Crumpy by Keith Heuwen on yesterdays Nascar prog.
  9. Well Ole signed off with one his "signature tracks". A total disgrace. I loved the presentation when Crumpy presented him with what looked like a box of dirt.
  10. Think that you missed out T Gollob. Surely not deliberately?
  11. Agree with the first part, but I did rather like the eliminator stages as it gave an injection of excitement into the early proceedings.
  12. I think that Havelock put the wind up some people on TV, regarding tickets, with his stupid comment about it being a 30,000 sell-out!! My experience of Bydogoszcz GP is that it's never completely sold out as there are usually empty seats on turn 3-4. I think that there is somekind of stigma into sitting there, Mateusz explained once, maybe he could refresh. IMO.To enjoy a GP at Bydgoszcz it is essential to buy back straight tickets and squeeze in with the 'Bon Vivant' supporters there - Mateusz, Mama, Lawrence etc. If your not known to the Bydgoszcz-Net Fans - ask Rico for a letter of introduction. There's certainly not the same atmosphere in the "Prawn Sandwich" areas as in the back straight.
  13. Fully agree with Norbold. Anyway Crumpy, Leigh and Noddy are just Brits with funny accents.
  14. and a full set of advertising banners around all the track. It's called good management and marketing.
  15. Certainly did. Thanks for that Ross.
  16. Ferjan Anyway, hope that everyone going to Krsko has a great time. We'd love to be there, probably our favoutite GP. Great atmosphere, great country, lovely people. The Pugwash Family.
  17. Went to a couple of the GPs there in early 2000's. Great stadium, big atmosphere but impossible to fill these days. Apparently 130,000 fans there when PC won in 1976!
  18. Forget Zagar. Is it not time to get the 'Proper' Matej back into the fold?
  19. That about spot on. The way I see it is that, if you can buy tickets for an event directly from BSI/IMG (or thro' their ticket sales agents) then that meeting is wholly run by BSI. ( Cardiff, Parken, Ullevii, Gelsenkirken etc, i.e any track that is not a Speedway Club) If the meeting is being held at a Speedway Club and tickets are sold thro' the Speedway Club then that club rents the GP from BSI/IMG, keeping the gate receipts but BSI will pay the riders out of the rental money. BSI obviously benefiting from the revenue generated from TV coverage and Sponsors.(That's why the local adverts at these tracks are always covered over).
  20. Yes. BSI/IMG make a huge profit from Cardiff and as long as 40k plus punters turn up at Cardiff they really don't give a toss about the rest.
