Cavendish and Wiggins have kerb appeal, they are boy next door types, clean cut, articulate. Does Woofinden fit into that mould?

Chris Harris Cardiff Wild Card
pugwash replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
BSI are reading crowd appeal wrongly if they think that the apperance of Chris Harris at Cardiff will boost the crowd. We're now not going because of it. -
They were telling us on TV yesterday that he was in good form. Looks poor to me.
-
Spot on.

Had some good acts in the early days. Edwin Starr, Suzie Quatro, then it started to slip. Tony Hadleigh god forbid! -

Coverage was terrible. Were Pearson and Tatum commenting from a UK studio? The sound mix was grim as you could hardly hear the sound of the bikes. Is this the fault of the BSI feed? Not good 2/10. Must try harder.

Belle Vues National Speedway Stadium
pugwash replied to Phil The Ace's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Arch's plan shows centre green laid out for hockey 92m x 55 m. R.L pitch is 122m x 68m over the dead ball areas so if a R.L is to be laid then i suppose you would be looking at a track similar size to the old County ground at Exeter, unless the dead ball areas are laid out with temp grass over the bends for rugby matches. -
Belle Vues National Speedway Stadium
pugwash replied to Phil The Ace's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I wouldn't have thought that there's any intention to play senior Rugby league there. What would be the point as there's a brand new Rugby Stadium been built down the road at Barton, home of Salford and Sale. Plus the big RL games are played at Old trafford or on 'The Council Pitch' at Eastlands. -
Should have gone to Poole.

Darcy Showing What A Pro He Is Again
pugwash replied to speedibee's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It seems to me that some people who have posted on this thread are sitting and hoping that he gets refused entry. All this 'he's an exciting rider, we want to see him in speedway BUT' does fool anyone. -

Don't tell me that you have fallen into the pathetic abyss of Poole Knockers. -

El Ad. Comments on this forum do sometimes drift off thread, are you setting up as some kind of forum traffic warden? Please try reading the full thread before judging the pertinence of my comments. On this particular thread Ward has been accused of being a 'convicted drug user', my posts have been in the context of defending him. I'll try to 'keep off the double yellow lines' in future officer. -

He's admitted smoking dope but the police didn't charge him with possesion. FFS how many members on this forum have smoked a joint, even the president of the USA admitted it (but he didn't inhale lol). Let the person who hath not sinned cast the first stone. -
