  1. i wasn't aware that Dw had committed a 'CRIME'.
  2. 148 pages summed up in 4 lines. Look forward to your summary of the next 148 pages.
  3. Phew, bet you thought they'd scooped you. Just goes to show that you can't believe what you read, unless it's in 'The Speedway Star'.
  4. Because he's banned until at least Jan 15th he wont be able to ride in the Aussie championships (Jan 2nd-10th). Thus he can't hope to be wildcarded into the Melbourne GP because the wildcard slot goes to the highest placed non GP rider in the Championship. As i understand from here http://www.worldspeedway.com/artman/publish/article_29737.shtml
  5. Gusters. What may eventually manifest to be a 'fubar' has got nothing to do with the shortcomings of Speedway. It is down to the bureaucracy of The FIM, who we all know do not control the day to day nuts and bolts of the sport , they just....err well, what do they actually do?
  6. Logical thinking but this isn't a case conducted in a court of law as such, more a kangaroo court. We would expect that The FIM would just come to a decision based on the fact that Ward failed a breath test and ban him for 6 months, 12 months or whatever they wished. Furthermore If the equipment was inorder and the procedure was carried out correctly then Ward would have no defence and must accept the ban resulting from his foolish behaviour. But this was not the case, why is it taking the FIM so long to announce a decision? Maybe if Ward has shown that the equipment was faulty (unlikely) or the test not carried out correctly (more likely) then that would lead to the protracted proceedings which we are now witnessing. Just my thoughts, but it all seems like it could finish messy.
  7. Anybody supports Swindon deserves a Gold Medal.
  8. Questions are harder on Eurosport. Especially the ones on Slough.
  9. Bring it on, man. Just like the 60s and 70s.
  10. You're not a jehovah's witness are you?
  11. he's committed a crime according to the 'hanging mob' on here.
  12. What's up with the reputation of this website? Why isn't it creditable?
  13. Starry, you're right. All riders inc reserves should be breathtested prior to racing. It can't be a huge or expensive task to carry out. No reason not to adopt same for all meetings, leagues, testimomials whatever. Don't know if there are any breath tests carried out prior to these events at present.
  14. I've seen plenty other riders in a similar state, some who now have the hypocrisy to critise Darcy on TV. Not your normal M.O to be sarcastic/facetious, Norbold. It isn't alright as we all well know, the poster was drawing attention to the fact that DW's drinking exploits are not unique.
  15. But not banned from October until March? Approve.
  16. When does the season start? Your premise is based on the Euro season. He could be racing in Oz.
  17. You don't know how right you are Humph, the legacy of The Talking Trilby has set RL back 20 years in the UK. His style of commentary led to a depiction of flat caps, woodbines and ferrets which the game is finding hard to shake off.
  18. Not so if we're talking about club matches! Until not long ago very few people watched senior club rugby matches apart from a few clubs (Quins, Leicester). A good crowd anywhere else would have been sub 1000.
  19. I think he's forgotten more than that!!
