It has been commented on here that a rider under the influence of alcohol could injure another rider. The comparison being that a rider who abstains from alcohol but with a psychopathic tendency could equally injure another rider.

What he has done, allegedly done or been accused of in the past has nothing to do with this incident. This incident relates around the self admitted fact that Ward drank a lot of alcohol on the night before a GP and on the day of the GP failed a breath test. Unfortunately some people's comments on here relating this incident are fueled by the former.
