Beleive me I am being very moderated in my replies when really I would so much like a one to one with some of these forum members not to batter them! but just to buy them a beer and discuss Speedway...Unfortunately, we do have some fools and trolls. -

Every time someone uses that unfortunate term" Window Lickers" and then associates it to Poole Speedway they hide away from facts...Name names - Don't by shy? -
Poole Thread Blocked Due To Trolls
Poole Quay 7 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Lilly (Gavan) is a 100% attention seeker...Perhaps all that peroxide has affected his judgment For some sad reason, he genuinely believes he is some sort of vocal Poole anti-hater and then pathetically looks further for support from the usual suspects and my how they oblige! To be honest, Gavan is a sad person who is an addicted attention seeking troll personally attempting to be controversial then feeding off responses and it is about time the moderators and people, in general, recognised this serial troll and just ask the question why has he been banned so many times? Any good points he makes are generally lost in his anti-Poole stance and yet he wants to be taken seriously! I can take banter - I can take insults towards Poole and I generally see it as envy so no problem but in this Trolls posts he only highlights an unhealthy obsession towards Poole Speedway, now we await the usual response from the obsessed one never looking inward, only looking outwards towards those, Poole supporters! -
I definitely want Brady back next season along with an established number one but who that will be who knows!? BRADY Kurtz has set his sights on a third straight season with Pirates and a place among the SGB Premiership's elite. The 21-year-old was arguably Poole's brightest spark during the campaign just gone, in which the Wimborne Road side reached the play-off semi-finals. And the former Australian champion, who lodges with team boss Neil Middleditch, wants to earn a team spot with his parent club for 2018. Kurtz this year stormed into the number one role for the first time in Poole colours with his only major setback coming when he suffered a broken rib in July. Reflecting on his campaign, Kurtz told the Daily Echo: "I'm really happy with the season. "After I came back from injury, it might not have looked like I was scoring the massive points I was before but it's a much tougher job when you are at number one, especially when you go to the away tracks. "Every team has one of the best riders in the world and I had to race them three times out of five, and race wins aren't easy to come by. "But I did my best and got some solid scores. "I was happy to be number one and learned a lot and, hopefully, next year I can come back and continue to be number one and bang in the big scores and be one of the top riders." Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17
Poole Quay 7 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I didn't expect Poole to reach the Semi-Finals so at least this keeps the season going, however, Swindon does have the better-balanced team so Poole will need to be firing at 100% and for Swindon to have an off night to carry any respectable lead over? I sincerely hope it's a good night for Speedway and always. may the best team win? -

Now, who was that Swindon hypocrite who kept on repeatedly calling Poole " Dirty Cheating Scumbags" in every boring post! Good luck to the Poole boys tonight, I hope they are fired up and ready to go from first tapes up -
Oh well, it's still better to read some POOLE news rather than read about people making plans for a "forum meet up!"

I'm pleased to return this thread to what's its purpose is supposed to be for...Poole Speedway News. POLISH racer Grzegorz Zengota has warned compatriot Krzysztof Kasprzak he is gunning for an extended stay at Pirates. Swindon asset Zengota joined Poole on a short-term deal at the end of last month and is due to make his debut in tonight's SGB Premiership trip to Leicester (7.30pm). Kasprzak, who has attracted criticism for his underwhelming early-season form, is currently recovering from the broken collarbone he sustained in a racing crash in Poland. And while the former Grand Prix star is due to return to the skull and crossbones later this month, stand-in number one Zengota has other ideas. The two-time Under-21 World Cup winner, brought in on a 10.91 average, wants to impress Pirates chief Matt Ford sufficiently to keep him on board for a longer spell. Zengota told the Daily Echo: "I'm happy I can race for Poole because they are an English club I haven't raced for before. "It's a new experience. I'm not used to being on a short contract but I will do my best and, hopefully, I can stay until the end of the season. "I'm starting at number one so it will not be easy but I feel there is a good chance I can do a good job for the team. "First, I will do a few meetings and then Matt will make a decision on whether I stay or not, so we will see. "I will do my best in these meetings and after that we will talk about the rest of the season." Zengota last raced on these shores two seasons ago, when he was named Swindon's rider of the year despite nearly losing his team place midway through the campaign. The 28-year-old also rode for Coventry in 2013 – where he won the same accolade – following two seasons with the Robins in 2010 and 2011. "I have nice memories of these places," said Zengota. "Swindon is one of the best clubs in the league and I know Poole is also one of the best. "I would like to say thank you to Matt, the club and the fans for having me and I hope I will satisfy everyone with my racing." Zengota hit double figures in his two trips to Leicester with Swindon in 2013, although the track has undergone various changes since then. The Zielona Gora-born rider will be joined at Beaumont Park by Rory Schlein, who has been booked to guest in the absence of Brady Kurtz. Aussie ace Kurtz and countryman Jack Holder have Under-21 World Cup semi-final commitments, with rider replacement used for the latter. There was concern when Schlein suffered a knee injury during Ipswich's win over Newcastle on Thursday but he has been declared fit. Leicester have brought in Kyle Howarth and Mark Riss to guest for Erik Riss and Josh Bates, respectively. Lions: (from) Lasse Bjerre, Jason Garrity, Kyle Howarth (guest), Danny King, Kim Nilsson, Mark Riss (guest), Danny Ayres. Pirates: (from) Hans Andersen, Jack Holder r/r, Kyle Newman, Rory Schlein (guest), Grzegorz Zengota, Nicolai Klindt, James Shanes. Wolves possibly losing Fast Freddie is far more advantageous for Poole to get something out of the meeting rather than losing Holder. I hope they are both fit to ride so no excuses can be used by either Poole or Wolves fans otherwise this will just turn into page after page of nonsense. -

Yes, I agree! The sheer hypocrisy is funny but only because it's probably lost on to whom it concerns! However back in the real world, we have this article in the Evening Echo below..... "PIRATES are sweating on the fitness of Jack Holder after the Aussie youngster crashed in the SGB Championship tonight. Holder withdrew from Peterborough's 60-30 defeat at Edinburgh having sustained a knee injury on his second ride. Peterborough promoter Ged Rathbone said: “Jack was clearly wiped out by Erik Riss, which was one of many questionable refereeing decisions on the night. “He has injured his knee but we’re hopeful it’s not too bad. We’ll assess him in the morning and make a decision on whether or not he races at Glasgow tomorrow. “The crash wrote his bike off. I’m sure he’d be grateful if anyone could help him put it back together.” The 21-year-old Holder is due to race for Poole at Wolverhampton on Monday. That meeting kicks off a run of four meetings in 12 days for Pirates." Yes, I also think it should be something around that as well. -
It's difficult to think of a more skillful speedway rider who could ride a bike so effortlessly and naturally than Darcy.
