  1. I'm saddened to hear about Peterborough Panthers and I sincerely hope someone steps to keep them going.
  2. As put-downs or comebacks go, I would rate that as 1 out of 5 for effort. In fact It was so rambling I nearly feel asleep half way through! I find it amusing to see your cage has been rattled and how clearly you yourself have highlighted that for everyone to see Also seeing you being in denial is rather funny but then not surprising. Now off you rush to other teams threads to continue the bickering and giving opinions on matters that occasionally - are worthless......Hence unwanted and unnecessary ( Not sarcasm )
  3. Oh look, yet another rolling eyes emotion!......Be careful now because as you said the other day to a Coventry fan "Watch you don't get dizzy rolling your eyes".............. You implied all Poole supporters in your post, which is not the case. Therefore, you should be more careful with the way you go about collectively accusing Poole supporters on here. It would appear you have a habit of getting up some peoples noses with unnecessary and unwanted comments on other teams threads with someone the other day actually going as far as to call you " obnoxious "..............not that I would go that far of course! However, at times, some of your posts do come across as sarcastic and sneering which is unfortunate because most of the time, the other posts are fine. Still, it's a public forum and it takes all sorts I guess.
  4. Oh look, a sarcastic, sneering remark from steveo - at the expense of all Poole supporters with of course, the trade-mark rolling eyes emotion at the end.
  5. As a matter of interest, when they have rock concerts etc at Villa Park, which is close to Perry Barr and also a residential area ( apart from the Trinity Road, Aston Park side ) - do they have the concerts in the day time to stop any complaints? Bon Jovi had a gig in June 2013 and they must have been a lot louder than some air horns!?
  6. Personally, I find this statement both fair and balanced. It's unfortunate that given any large group of people attending a sporting event like football/speedway etc, you will have a small minority who spoil it for the vast majority of fans. I have seen this with my own eyes at Villa Park, AFC Bournemouth etc etc....you name it and there will be various incidents which leave the vast majority of decent fans annoyed. However, I'm pretty sure that collectively, the Poole supporters didn't visit Perry Barr with the intention to deliberately cause trouble but a few got carried away with the occasion and ignored the requests to stop. There are no excuses and I'm sorry to hear that this happened and I sincerely hope that no complaints was made to Birmingham City council by local residents who I would hope, would take into consideration, the importance of the occasion. That is my own take on the matter and it is all I indeed to say. It happened, so please can we learn some lessons and move on to next season. As always, good luck to the Birmingham Brummies in your efforts to build another exciting team that once again, you can be proud of.
  7. And no surprise to see that the Poole obsessed stevebrum puts his "like" on every anti Poole message. Also clear to see - but again no surprise, he is now in full flow as the stirring, anti Poole mouthpiece on here. Up the Pirates chaps......Lets hope your winter will be as cheerful as ours.
  8. That win was for all the poor attempts to snipe at Poole speedway plus the continuous slagging off you and the others have done all season! You have forced Poole fans backs against the wall, so just like the team, we came out fighting to defend our club - so do you seriously think the above pompous bile, plus all the other recycled sour grapes is even going to touch the sides!?....................Nah, of course not!! To the many decent speedway supporters that have congratulated Poole on here - and even those that didn't!.......Thank you and we wish you well in the team building etc at your respective clubs. The banter from you was enjoyable and thank you for not overstepping the line unlike the others who will continue the slagging off and poor attempts to dig away at us in every POOLE thread right through-out the winter
  9. I think Pearson and Tatum do a good job but the haters have to find something else to whinge at. As someone else said.... " You'll miss them when they have gone "
  10. Yes it was nice to see the " Play-off lightweights " win ( another classic from the man who always gets it wrong......stevebrum ) Indeed - commiserations to the Birmingham Brummies.
  11. What do you know about Perry Barr.......You didn't even go to your own teams semi-final play-off.....And then he criticises a Poole fan tonight for not " bothering to make the effort to support your team " I suppose the 6 mile trip all the way from Smethwick was a bit too much for him at the time. When he dishes it out it it's just " A light hearted dig "..........Hypocrite. Posted Today, 09:04 PM stevebrum, on 15 October 2013 - 06:46 PM, said: "Good on you for not bothering to make the effort to support your team" Hypocrite. Well done Poole Speedway. 2013 play-off winners And lets not forget the sporting Birmingham Brummies fans throughout the meeting and particularly at the end.
  12. I would imagine both are true!......A very bitter person Well done Poole.
  13. How was the long trip from Smethwick to Perry Barr for the semi-final or was you posting from the meeting!?
  14. The sore losers out in force I see I'm pleased to see Poole winning in style but I'm sorry for the Brummie fans and the team who have been outclassed at the last hurdle.
  15. Thanks gavan - It's always nice to start the day off with a good laugh! I won't reply to any more of your rants because I don't want to sink that low and be brought down to your level.. Enjoy your winter now
  16. And there was me thinking SAUCE was something you have with a meal Pete
  17. But Gary, Brains aren't everything. And I would even go as far to say that in your case, they're nothing!
  18. Yes I agree it's not to my taste either but I'm sure that won't bother him!
  19. Why enter a competition with one hand tied behind your back through lack of funds? He goes out and gets the sponsorship money etc to ensure Poole speedway have a chance of being successful and for that I say a big thank you to our Matt!
