  1. That's all well and good starman. However maybe you should direct it at the above poster who wrote it and not me!
  2. "Spoke to Havvy. Broken ribs and a possible punctured lung for Sarjeant. Moribund meeting that took an eternity to run. Classless home fans, moronic start marshall and the expected thrashing. Taxi for Andersen. Would prefer a junior in the side than somebody who can't be bothered." Like the vast majority of Poole fans I sincerely hope Sarjeant is back and well to ride a bike soon.
  3. I'm sure you will but lets not let the spin get in the way of a satisfying Poole victory eh After so many fabrications of late it's hard to know what to believe when you come out with these comments
  4. mdmc82 Members 6,221 posts Posted Today, 09:00 PM It's really sad to read all the comments on Twitter of Poole fans cheering whilst he was being treated and also laughing that he needed an ambulance. It's meant to be a family sport regardless of who you support and you should never take joy in seeing a rider hurt. I remember the respect Coventry fans showed Holder when he had his accident at our track, showing concern for him and quiet whilst he was being treated then giving him applause as he came round in ambulance to show support. I know it's not all Poole fans but the large amount that do it let the others down I don't use twitter but after reading these accusations you made about the " Large amount of Poole fans that let others down" I goggled Poole speedway twitter and the only reference I could see on there about James Sarjeant was below? KRC ‏@mkrc82 37m37 minutes ago @poolespeedway hope Sarjeant is ok. 0 retweets0 favorites Reply poole speedway ‏@poolespeedway 1h1 hour ago Dr is currently attending to James Sarjeant who sadly had to leave the track in the ambulance, although was able to go in under own steam
  5. 06:05 Wednesday 17 June 2015 NEIL Middleditch has stoked the fires ahead of Pirates' clash with Coventry by branding as "bad form" the Bees' attempts to get the teams' previous fixture restaged. Pirates grabbed a 36-22 win in treacherous conditions at Brandon on June 1 in a Sky-televised meeting that was curtailed after 10 heats. The result provoked a furious reaction from the Bees, the club later revealing plans to submit concerns to the Speedway Control Bureau in a bid to get the fixture re-run. However, that move irked Poole boss Middleditch, who admitted tonight's top-of-the-table clash at Wimborne Road (7.30pm) would be a "pretty edgy" affair. Middleditch told the Daily Echo: "I don't know what that was all about. Whether they were trying to get some publicity, I don't know, but I thought it was pretty bad form asking for the meeting to be restaged. "It's absolutely ludicrous. The floodgates would have to open. Would we restage the first leg of the final last year because of rain or the final in 2010? Where does it stop? "I don't know what they are thinking of. They lost a match and OK, it wasn't how they wanted to lose it or on their terms, but they lost it. "It wasn't me that refused to send riders out, it was them. I did everything by the rules. The referee told me the meeting was on and to send my boys out for heat 10, so I did, and obviously they didn't send theirs out. "The weather intervened, we got to heat 10 as stated in the rules so it's a result – get over it. "I received a letter from the Speedway Control Bureau asking for my version of events and from my point of view there was nothing wrong. "There's a bit of history there following that encounter but there's no animosity between us and Coventry, it's just going to be a pretty edgy meeting on Wednesday." Middleditch has a close relationship with Bees team manager and former Poole rider Gary Havelock and admits the controversy at Brandon could have been dealt with in a different manner. The Pirates boss added: "Havvy is as passionate about his club as I am about mine and if anything, it should have been between me and Havvy rather than Mick Horton (Coventry promoter) coming down to get his tuppence-worth in there. "At the end of the day it was up to the track curator and the referee. If all the riders had deemed the track unsafe then we wouldn't have ridden." Both Elite League leaders Poole and second-placed Coventry are at full strength for tonight's fixture. 6. After all the whining coming out from Coventry speedway plus on here as well, I hope Poole go out tonight and convincingly beat the whingers
  7. I don't mind what you say as it's clearly from the heart and particularly on Poole matters. So in other words it's not you that saturates threads with nonsense and drivel but the multi alias one from Coventry
  8. I see the usual suspect has already started to saturate yet another thread with the usual opinionated and tiresome posts I'm very much looking forward to this meeting with plenty of pride at stake and hopefully, Poole should just shade it by around 6-8 points.
  9. Nice of Neil Middleditch to pose for a photo with the local Big Issue seller
  10. And I think he may have a good point as well!
  11. Poole Pirates in charge of the " Mighty Bees" and in charge of the weather Poole did nothing wrong and it seems Havvy has spent too long in Coventry and has now joined them in walking around with a bag of King Edwards on each shoulder
  12. Points in the bag is what counts at the moment. Poole still need to settle down and bring some momentum to the team as they hopefully head towards to play-off's. Normally the team that wins the play-off's is the team who have built up the momentum and peak just at the right time. Still plenty of time for several teams to do this so time will tell!?
  13. Let's not be greedy now... 3 points will do us just fine thank you.
  14. Well done to Wolves on an expected home win. With the team that was selected by Matt Ford and Neil Middleditch at the start of the season, it was always going to blow hot and cold without any real consistency. Things need to be looked at by Matt but I wouldn't write us off just yet. Nothing nicer for the Wolves fans than to start the season so well after being put down by people on here...Well done to-date!
  15. Early days yet, but things need to be looked at by management and a few riders need to up their act. Well done to the Aces who nearly, and perhaps should have won the meeting?......I doubt you will get a better chance this season! Based on the above, I'm happy to get a point
  16. Good luck to the Pirates tonight and well done sommelier on the speedway meeting's journeys!... Hope you are enjoying it.
  17. If Sky are to be somewhere tonight, then it's a real shame it's not at Monmore to watch this potentially - exciting meeting.
  18. Unlikely you will lose, but it would be funny though after an OTT thread title like that
  19. Under the circumstances, you and the rest of the ground staff did the best you could ghcooke - so thanks for trying to give us a speedway meeting. Here's hoping for a rain free meeting on Monday!
  20. Fingers ( make that everything! ) crossed for the OK to be given for tonight.
