  1. Great team spirit amongst these Poole boys - never giving up right to the end. Two very welcome if unexpected points gained at a very difficult away track. It's always satisfying to disappoint those who appear to find it difficult to hide their dislike against Poole speedway on here Up The Pirates chaps
  2. Hi, I looked this up and it appears to be fairly self-explanatory - https://justgiving-charity-support.zendesk.com/entries/21243992-creating-appeal-pages I sincerely hope it is of some help to you and the Brummies cause. Best wishes with it all.
  3. Good luck to the Brummie boys. I sincerely hope it all works out well and speedway continues at Perry Barr. Ht 15 M. Janowski B. Barker D. King V. Milik 3-3 (60-32) (61.47)
  4. Overly sensitive to criticism, Poole obsessed and opinionated to the extent of boring.....But "don't take it personally" steve!
  5. It was already quoted 2 times and as a Poole fan, I felt it right not to be associated with it - and which I consider to be far more important.
  6. Pirate Oliver, on 21 Jun 2014 - 1:55 PM, said: I'm pleased to see this post has been removed. It does Poole fans no good whatsoever and quite rightly, just antagonises people. Good luck to both teams and I hope the weather is good for both sets of supporters to enjoy a few beers on the Quay
  7. provided the team are in a determined mood like against Leicester, then the Poole boys should enjoy a comfortable home win and 3 points to stay in the play-of'f's contention. For those on holiday in Dorset, the entrance fee has again been reduced to £10 http://www.poolepirates.co/news/0625-tenner.html
  8. Easy and impressive al-round win for the Poole boys. Lion's looked rather poor but they were up against a team that looked like they meant business. Well done to Matt on the £10 entrance fee and Eddie Kennett, for the deserved rider of the evening award from the sponsors.
  9. Will the Poole boys stop the rot of 3 defeats in a row and defeat a mid-table Wolves team at Wimborne Road? We Poole fans of course hope and expect so - however, many others won't!.......Team news to follow and good luck to both teams riders to stay injury free. Please leave your thoughts and predictions for THIS meeting.............Thanks.
  10. I can remember years without winning anything at Poole so if we can't win the title this season, then I would be more than happy to see Kings Lynn Stars go on to win it.
  11. Oh gavan, you are such a tart! You appear to have conveniently forgotten that I was in fact, the first Poole fan on here to congratulate Coventry winning so well and which you acknowledged ( after making yourself look foolish, ranting on with the same bile) Lets be honest gavan, you are completely obsessed with Poole speedway and Steve Shovlar in particular and if you think you can now move on to me to single and call out then think again because I will reply and and make you look a fool..... Mind you that's not difficult as you do most of that for yourself anyway. Well done to the Stars on a spirited display and 3 points fully deserved. Please continue to write us off and we will see how things are at the end of the season!?
  12. Could anyone tell me if the meeting is being covered by any local radio?.........Thanks.
  13. "Simmo" was my first hero in speedway and I'm very sad to hear this news. My thoughts are with the family and friends. RIP Super Simmo.
  14. That wasn't in the script! Well done Coventry on a brilliant come back and a fully deserved win. Predictably Gavan and KKS making ** of themselves but what's new I'm pleased for Havvy after some of the stick he got. Still a long way to go though folks so don't get too carried away just yet!
  15. I wonder if Darcy has got to ride in the UK to satisfy his UK visa requirements? Perhaps someone with access to information on here could inform us if there is a time-scale etc?
  16. I'm looking forward to watching this meeting tonight on Sky. It could be a good one however, I can't see past a home win. Good luck to both teams
  17. 1,I changed my name once in 4 years and that makes me "multi aliased" Still, don't let another fabrication get in the way of attempting to gain the high moral ground eh steve. 2, You mentioned my name last week in a post 3, I once owned a brilliant, little Jack Russell that I thought the world of and was well trained and never "yapped" So blame the owner, not the dog
  18. An ironic remark ( and not the first!) when you take into account that you haven't exactly endeared yourself to some posters on here either However, I'm totally sure the post will get a "like" from stevebrum and a maybe a few others? - who would rather hope I disappear as well Up the Poole Pirates chaps
  19. Why don't you just call yourself Dr Who and regenerate every month......Or perhaps better still.... evaporate into the ether
  20. Or more to the point people might say, here he goes again, spending another day trolling the Poole pages
  21. Well pleased with the Brummies beating a sad and dispirited Wolves team.
  22. Another satisfying win for the Poole boys against a team who after all the hype, were simply outclassed. Well done The Poole Pirates
