King's Lynn V Poole Pirates Mon 29th
Poole Quay 7 replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm very happy with that result. However, only a fool would write off Kings Lynn as anything could happen in the return leg. Well done you Poole boys and here's hoping we finish the job off next week at Wimborne Road. Up The Pirates -

Most decent Wolves fans would be more concerned he wasn't "bothered" representing Wolves Speedway this season -

Well as it seems that part of the season to dish out good luck, I hope Swindon well and truly stuff Coventry over the two legs -

I will be surprised If Swindon don't win over two legs. Hope it's a great semi-final play-off for all concerned. -

I'm a little apprehensive but also looking forward to this. It will be tough and I can see both teams winning at home so we need to keep it close and finish the job at Wimborne Road. Good luck to the Poole boys. -
First of all well done to Wolves on a spirited display that did deserve something from the meeting. Bomber Harris turned out to be a far better quest than Pertersen and all I can say is thanks for the memories Bjarne because questing for Darcy Ward in two meetings with a return of 4 points isn't good enough. And talking of Darcy - the last two meetings have shown how much he is missed as our number one and all down to his complete lack of professionalism which could very well mean we miss out on winning the play-off's.....Thanks a bunch Darcy Matt Ford will have to get his thinking hat on and go for rider in form to replace him each meeting but unfortunately, the wayward one is pretty much irreplaceable with what Matt has to pick from. But don't write us off just yet!

What difference does that make in your world!? You call it "convenient" now but this is how you called it back then... So you'll forgive me if I can't take you seriously Belle Vue Aces Vs Poole Pirates 09/09/2013 Posted by scottyfan on 11 September 2013 - 08:29 PM "Finally watched this meeting and yes the track was not good.....but to say it was the worst track ever.....well three meetings on tracks just as bad or worse spring to mind, 2010 play off final first leg, Swindon v Poole ELB 2012 and the second leg of the play off final 2012, Yet there wasn't 74+ pages moaning about those meetings going ahead....Why??....Because Poole lost two of them and lost on aggregate in the other.....What a surprise it is only disgraceful, the end of the sport as we know it,Matt Ford is the antichrist etc,etc because Poole had the audacity to WIN the meeting.....Absolute shame on you Poole....You know your supposed to lose every speedway meeting you compete in so that every other teams fans are happy!!!! "

I suppose the post below from nearly a year ago wasn't another predicable, Poole put-down either and was only another one of your observations about Poole Speedway!? Didn't you feel a bit of a p**t for getting it so wrong ( again) as we moved on to win the play-off's Swindon V Poole El 29/8/13 Posted by scottyfan on 29 August 2013 - 09:04 PM Some of theThe Pirates fans are on the track....They think its all over........IT IS NOW!!!!!!.....bye bye Poole Pirates no play offs this year as the team has been Dire all season!!!!!!!

No complaints from me or I suspect the vast majority of Poole Speedway supporters. I bet Matt Ford's phone is red hot at the moment. As Captain Mainwaring would have said.........You stupid boy Ward

Wow, lets all just give up now and give the trophy to Coventry -
In your haste to write yet more trash talk gavan, I see you have found it convenient to have a selective memory when you think it serves your purpose because you overlooked my post (below) and starman hasn't commented! Cue yet more of " the usual pathetic response".... backtracking and trying to explain yourself yet again. In Topic: Pirates 2014 17 August 2014 - 03:35 PM "I'm very disappointed to hear this news. If Darcy is found guilty of this then he should be looking at a ban from professional speedway which should to be determined by the appropriate authorities. Regardless of any mitigating circumstances - it is important that no spin comes from any level of management at Poole Speedway. Instead, let him know how he let us down and set an appalling example to the youngsters who idolise him at Wimborne Rd. I don't see myself as being over dramatic here, but really Darcy, how many chances do you want ? It's time to stop this thoughtless behaviour and concentrate 100% on speedway which you are brilliant at. Find a mentor like Jason Crump or Leigh Adams and learn what is like to be a true professorial before it's too late. I sincerely wish him success in life and speedway."

How disappointing for many on here that the peoples top team couldn't rise to the challenge and crush those nasty, marauding and plundering Pirates Brilliant away win so well done to the Poole boys. Commiserations to Kings Lynn. Only a fool would right them off and they will be smarting and after revenge next time around. -

Wolves V Pirates 4/8 (pk Is Back)
Poole Quay 7 replied to T.N.T.'s topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well done to the Poole boys. To be fair, with all the Wolves hype about the team changes I was starting to think a point would be OK! Not a good night to be a Wolves fan suffering such a public humiliation so commiserations. But let's not take anything away from such a great and dominate Poole performance. -

As expected a close affair ( unless of course you are the deluded scottyfan ) Well done to both teams. I would imagine Kings Lynn will reach the final but who against I'm not sure!? Should be an interesting run in towards the play-off's for a few teams and keep an eye on the one going into it them who have hit form at the right time and carry the necessary momentum.
