  1. Poole Pirates in charge of the " Mighty Bees" and in charge of the weather Poole did nothing wrong and it seems Havvy has spent too long in Coventry and has now joined them in walking around with a bag of King Edwards on each shoulder
  2. He will do OK at home but on the road he will be inconsistent which to me is a weak link in a winning team.
  3. If Darcy does come back to ride this season then I have always thought that the Poole management would be very reluctant to loan him out to a team that could be seriously considered to be a play-off rival? Mind you Poole have to get their act together first to be considered as a top four play-off contender themselves starting with Davy Watt who unfortunately for him has had one injury too many and it's now affecting his ability to consistently score well this season.
  4. Points in the bag is what counts at the moment. Poole still need to settle down and bring some momentum to the team as they hopefully head towards to play-off's. Normally the team that wins the play-off's is the team who have built up the momentum and peak just at the right time. Still plenty of time for several teams to do this so time will tell!?
  5. This is just not acceptable at all and quite rightly, leaves Poole Speedway wide open for criticism. If Magic was forced to ride in Poland for his club and he finished with double points and unhurt, then Poole should inform him he has no other choice other than ride as our captain in the UK tonight.
  6. Thanks for the link Skidder, I'm sure Darcy's many fans on here just can't wait to click it and see it for themselves!
  7. Let's not be greedy now... 3 points will do us just fine thank you.
  8. I wouldn't bother replying to this posters predictable and continual wind-up references to Poole " Choking " On reflection, It might help if he looked closer to home
  9. Well done to Wolves on an expected home win. With the team that was selected by Matt Ford and Neil Middleditch at the start of the season, it was always going to blow hot and cold without any real consistency. Things need to be looked at by Matt but I wouldn't write us off just yet. Nothing nicer for the Wolves fans than to start the season so well after being put down by people on here...Well done to-date!
  10. Early days yet, but things need to be looked at by management and a few riders need to up their act. Well done to the Aces who nearly, and perhaps should have won the meeting?......I doubt you will get a better chance this season! Based on the above, I'm happy to get a point
  11. Good luck to the Pirates tonight and well done sommelier on the speedway meeting's journeys!... Hope you are enjoying it.
  12. If Sky are to be somewhere tonight, then it's a real shame it's not at Monmore to watch this potentially - exciting meeting.
  13. Unlikely you will lose, but it would be funny though after an OTT thread title like that
  14. Under the circumstances, you and the rest of the ground staff did the best you could ghcooke - so thanks for trying to give us a speedway meeting. Here's hoping for a rain free meeting on Monday!
  15. Fingers ( make that everything! ) crossed for the OK to be given for tonight.
  16. What would have been a great day of speedway ruined yet again by rain. So frustrating for fans and riders alike.
  17. I would imagine it would be Somerset as is already proved with Josh missing the evening meeting at Swindon due to " Somerset commitments "
  18. "PIRATES have signed Josh Grajczonek on a temporary basis as cover for the injured Davey Watt. Former captain Watt suffered a broken left foot and damaged ankle ligaments in a pairs meeting at Polish club Krakow on Sunday. Poole estimate the injury could rule Watt out for between four and six weeks so Grajczonek - who played a crucial role in last season'sElite League triumph - has been brought in for the interim period. Grajczonek will ride for Pirates in Good Friday's morning meeting against Swindon but will miss the evening clash with the Robins due to Somerset commitments. Ford told the Pirates website: "I am very pleased to welcome Josh back in this temporary measure. "I feel so gutted for Davey as he had worked really hard to get back to full fitness after several knocks last season and I know that he is extremely frustrated with this latest situation. "His injuries are, I am led to believe, pretty nasty and they will take a little time to heal and covering all that time with rider replacement and or guests wouldn't have been an ideal situation. "Josh was keen to come back and I am sure that it will be a seamless transition during Watty's absence." http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/12555289.Speedway__Grajczonek_replaces_Watt_on_temporary_basis/ Welcome back Josh and get well soon Davey!
  19. Provided his points fit in and subject to availability? Poole should look no further than Milik who should have been in the team anyway.
  20. Well done to Poole on picking up the first bit of silverware available for this season. Commiserations to the Stars who are a good team and will be be in the top four for the play-off's.
  21. Magic has so much natural talent on a speedway bike he doesn't need to be overly aggressive.
