I was not aware that FRN can be ignored as long as both parties are in agreement, apologies for that. -

Sports these days use technology to ensure the referees make correct decisions and if they make a mistake it can be corrected retrospectively. Rerun productions sell dvd’s Of Star’s meetings so let’s look at that and than decide. -

I tweeted Mark Lemon and asked why Max did not race is heat 15 and he replied saying that he had to change bikes for heat 13 but it was lacking power and he finished last so it would not have been suitable for heat 15. -
If you have SkyQ then it is available to download until August 23rd.

I agree Phil, you must put your captain in a heat like this with Dan. A 3-3 was enough. Was Max OK? -

Just an expression I have heard used about the riders in position 3 and 4. Normally the two best riders are in positions 1 and 5; the reserves are in positions 6 and 7 ; so 3 and 4 form the engine room. In this simile the scores for the Aces in 3 and 4 total 14 points whereas the same for Stars total 4. Hence Bagpuss' comment. -

Should be an absolute cracker tonight. Kings Lynn won the last meeting at the NSS but the Aces should be stronger this time with the return of Steve Worrall and Max Fricke. NKI and Lambert swap positions so not sure if that will make a difference and the inclusion of the Riss brothers, neither of whom I am familiar with, who will be making their debuts add an additional point of interest. It could easily come down to the reserves and if MPT comes with his gating gloves could make a huge difference and the fitness of Proctor and Jorgensen will also play its part. Very occasionally I am very fed up living in North London and today is one of those days. Go Aces. Just noticed that Cookie was also missing from the last meeting - so another plus for the Aces. -
There is a reason Tai does not ride in the U.K. Lets face it if he did then he would be scoring maximums every meeting but would it make him a better rider, no - its competing with the top riders in Poland, Sweden etc. that keeps him sharp and at the top of the game. Only one in the Aussie team double up here the others are abroad and until the GB riders do the same we will never be at their level consistently.

Is that because attendances were so poor? Or other issues. -

Just a small point Starman, I am not sure, and stand to be corrected, but I believe BV have a license to race on only certain days. -

Lets not also forget that Mr Ford has also said this could be his last year. A stadium with improved facilities, better racing and increased attendances equates to a higher selling price. So reading all the messages of how wonderful it is now to attend a meeting and watch this fantastic team is music to Mr Ford's ears. "And the money keeps rolling in" -
What is the make up of this General Council, do we know who sits on it, how they get to be appointed; who do they report to; what is their mandate.
