Watched a lot of Swedish meetings this summer and they go to extraordinary lengths to make sure the meeting goes ahead. Watched them virtually replace the whole track with new shale so it could go ahead. What do we do, look at the forecast the day before and decide there and then or if it looks like they may have to put some work in then they think that’s too much trouble so cancel is the easy option. Don’t deserve our support.

Can't believe it. It seems only yesterday that he was telling us how thrilled he was to be signed up to Discovery+/Eurosports for this forthcoming season with Kelv and the team. Totally shocked - not loved by everyone but I liked his love of speedway. He will be missed.

Just Googled this from Sky We've partnered exclusively with Discovery to offer all Sky Q customers access to the new discovery+ streaming service at no extra cost for 12 months.

My understanding is that if you subscribe to Sky Q then Discovery+ is included for the first 12 months. Don't know after that.

Outstanding lineup, wish I could be their but can’t. Must be a candidate for streaming, Clean Cut will be filming, I hope, for DVD and they stream ice hockey so it must be worth investigating.

Maybe TV deal stopped it being streamed. Hope Dan wins, could help his SoN selection.

Yesterday I looked at the number of people looking at each of the three Premiership meetings on the Speedway Update site. There were over 1000 people logged in. If they were to charge £10 to access the stream that’s £10,000 per meeting. All were sell-outs so no loss of attendance income, and would it really cost over £10k to organise it. We have companies who already film meetings and put them on dvd’s which they sell for about £10. it was done last year by Belle Vue and it is being done this year by a team in the Championship I think. Speedway are missing a trick here, we must get our head out of the sand, we have a great product so let’s sell it.
