I am pretty sure that 10pts has top scored in SGP heats 1-20. 11pts certainly has. I reckon that was a major problem with the old one-off world final that a bad race and a lot of riders wouldn't be trying as hard. SGP every point counts so you have to keep fighting

I just don't understand why you would want to ditch the semis and final. Surely these are the most exciting parts of the match when you throw all the best riders in against each other!?

Good SGP I thought. Great advert for Speedway with the huge crowd. Shame attendances wont be like that throughout but a great start. Did at one point thought I'd slipped into a parallel universe where Dudek passes riders Just on the scoring the only difference I would make would be to award the finalist more points. Even 4th finisher. So have it 6-4-2-1 in the final.

Sorry perhaps I wasn't very clear. I meant a timed 4 laps (same as race) so at Warsaw something around 56 seconds.

Do you think it would be better setting times over 4 laps from the tapes? Draw of riders dependent on current sgp position ?

Maybe not a great TV spectacle but I bet it's given Robert Lambert a huge boost going into this meeting. Just needs to nail some effing starts!

Fricke looked shocking last night hope he has a good SGP today. Would have preferred to see Michelson on current form.

I really don't think the FIM would be wise to make things awkward for Extraliga riders / clubs. It's a battle they are unlikely to win and so I can't see it happening Pretty sure the SEC would welcome any black listed riders with open arms Magic out then? What a shame who was next in line Fricke or MM ?

I think given a pick most riders will try and get 2 x gate 1s What's that about the intercontinental final? How did that relate to the world final start positions?

Because I don't know if the riders will be out for 1, 2, 3+ rounds.

Good morning all Just watched SON from Belle Vue on catch up and I thought it came across brilliant. Best match I've seen this year. Perhaps BT did some editting if some of the live camera work wasn't great. Full house, brilliant speedway, minor nations mixing it. Got to say the new style SON is excellent.

He's been my favourite rider to watch this year so far. Never really heard of him before this year. The early race against Vaculik was so good (made better by waving to the crowd on the 4th lap) Just wish Lambert and AJ could show a bit more fight

Good morning So I have the BT sport app and wanted to know if BT show complete re-runs of the SGB matches shown on TV. If you navigate through the menus as far as I can tell you just get a 1:30min video giving away the result of Swindon Vs Peterborough. I was well pi$$ed off! No doubt they'll do the same with the SGP and give away the ending to game of thrones for good measure.

I just watch the matches and I cant speak polish. Don't have time for anything else with work and family. I am a bit surprised you didn't know that.

Really surprised by that from Magic he was up so quickly to check on Buckowski. Supposed to hurt like hell as well breaking a collar bone. Tough lads! Doyle also sounds really painful but that crash looked really nasty. Must be doubtful for the first sgp?

A few questions from the weekends polish racing that I hope someone on here might be able to help with - How come Janowski didn't take his last race for Wroclaw? He didn't appear after his crash with Buckowski. - is there bad blood between Gorzow & ZG ? The crowd seem really pumped up and Protisewicz & Vaculuk particularly so. Perhaps the latter as it's his ex team - Doyle any update after his crash? Looked a heavy fall but I thought Zagatr excl. was a home decision - Okay, this really gets my goat, (and is more if a comment that a question) I've seen this a few times this year where a crashed rider gets up and quickly as his team mate is leading and clears the track only for the ref to stop the race. It's happened twice against Lublin.

I was left scratching my head on that post! Kurtz rounded Lambert?! Then I just realised I'd watched Gorzow v Lublin on YouTube and not Leszno v Lublin!!! FFS!
