Yes, but then the greyhound stadium was mentioned as well. -

Doubt if the land allegedly being purchased is the greyhound stadium. Land a bit more rural would be a fraction of the price. -

Can't understand why we need to know the team now. If the declared team is poor in your opinion when it's announced, you may have a point. Until then, we need to support the alleged new owner in my opinion. -

Most of the riders rumoured to be at Panthers next season aren't currently declared with any other team. Maybe the possible change of ownership is taking a bit longer than expected, & this is holding up the official declaration reference our team next season. The fact we have got a team next season is a massive bonus in my opinion, so lets just enjoy it, however long it takes to announce the team. -
Is Kerr that strong ?
-
I'm a bit worried we might lose a couple of the teams that have senior teams, like Plymouth. Shame the IOW can't be persuaded to come back.
-
Be interesting to see what other teams are running in the National League next season.

Bates wasn't the promoter last time. As you say, good luck to them. I also think they will get more away fans next season. -

Of course it does, the promotion know how much riders wages are, plus all the other running costs. They haven't gone up to lose money, & must be confident that the crowds will stay high enough to break even at least. -

You have virtually told us the team, so 8th December is bit of an anti climax. -

The promotion already have a team in the Premiership, so I don't know why people are thinking Leicester won't be able to cope financially. -

If Schlein is a serious option, & we are losing our top three from last season, we are in trouble. -
Bloody hell, a pint in all the bars mentioned in Worky will put me into double figures & wobbly territory lol. Would definitely give it a go if we make it up next year though.
-
Rambo is 100% committed to whoever he rides for, & is brilliant for team spirit. Would much rather have him in my team, rather than an overrated foreigner who will cost more with flights etc, & score less points.

Agree, I was making reference to trying to find enough people to fund Newcastle opening again. -

Even with 800 fans, you need to take the children & a lot of adults out of the equation when it comes to putting £1000 into the Newcastle fund. -

Where are you going to find 1000 people interested in Newcastle speedway ? Less than half that figure was the average crowd last season. -
Would love to meet THJ. How far is Maryport ?
-
If I came up to see the new track, I would probably come up for the weekend. Question to THJ, as it appears you like a drink. Where could I go nearby for a good night out ?

Get back to planet earth. The only part of your post that is relevant is if only. No offence meant, but that isn't possible. -
How are all these top riders going to be able to return to the league when it is rumoured the points limit is being reduced ?
