King's Lynn V Swindon 14/05/14 Sky Meeting
proud panther replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The last 5 meetings I have seen at Lynn have been awful. This is spread over a 12 month period, so am I unlucky, or is last night the normal fare at Lynn these days ? -
Good luck Ricky on your continued recovery.

Whilst it sounds romantic to blood the youngsters, have we really got any that are competitive at that level at the moment ? -
Peterborough Vs Edinburgh - Tues 6th May
proud panther replied to scotchopper's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Neil Watson only types what Mick Horton tells him to, so if you are looking for an explanation, you should be having a go at Mick. Personally, I think a full explanation should be forthcoming from the promotion, but i'm not holding my breath. -
Rye House V Peterborough 4th May
proud panther replied to Dave Stummings's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Very stupid lol. What is more amazing, people must be buying them on a regular basis for them to run out ! The food at the pub next to the stadium looked lovely but I felt too sick to try it. Maybe next time lol. -

Wont ever complain about the fish & chips running out again. Tried them for the first time yesterday, & they were truly awful ! -
Stoke Speedway Track Work Update
proud panther replied to Swift Saint's topic in National League Speedway
iannewsman, if you don't go to Stoke anymore, why do you feel the need to slag the promotion off ? Sounds like sour grapes to me, & before you ask, I have never met Malcolm Vasey, so my opinion isn't biased towards him. -
Stoke Speedway Track Work Update

He still has to answer to his bosses, the same as a manager in any industry having directors to answer to. I think you would be better talking to the directors of Stoke speedway iannewsman, do you still attend speedway at Stoke ? -

Good luck to all at Stoke, especially Malcolm, who always responds to the negative comments aimed at Stoke. I suspect that his hands are tied when it comes to sorting a lot of the problems out, & I feel that sometimes the moaners are shooting the messenger. -
British Semi-finals

Westhamboy66, I agree that the fours should be at a neutral venue, as it will devalue the home teams efforts if they win. People talk about altering Leicesters track, & I think there is a case to do the same at Hoddesdon, mainly on the first & second bend. Shadders, the last 3 times I have been to Rye, the fish bar has ran out an hour before the start. Added to the fact that they cant buy enough cans of beer to last 1 night, it makes you wonder if they need a new catering manager, because its costing the club money. -

Shadders, where did I mention holding the meeting at Peterborough ? Most tracks would be better than Rye House. Notice you didn't try & defend the track, although that would be difficult after last night. Only having the option of chips to eat, & all bars running out of cans of beer added to the reason the event should be moved to a more organised promotion in my opinion. Just to add, the barmaid did tell us that somebody had gone to the supermarket to buy some more cans, but she didn't think they would be cold. -

Rye House shouldn't get these big individual meetings, because the track is crap. -
Adam Roynon Dropped By Sheffield

As much as I respect Adam for coming back from many serious injuries, Proctors average will be higher at the end of the season. -
Belle Vue Aces Vs Poole Pirates 28/04/2014
proud panther replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Will Poole give a reason for Smarts absence, or will it be brushed under the carpet ? -
Spinkox, that was brilliant thank you. Will spend the next few days going through the other meetings on the page. Is there a website where I can get more of these clips ?
