Spoke to somebody who was in the pits at Somerset, & he said Rosco had a very positive affect on the riders, & it helped get the result. Don't see the same strengths in our normal management team to be honest, so the only change I would make at the moment would be in that department.

Got to be Vissing if he is available, Ipswich are a very solid looking team, & will run us very close in my opinion.

Think Rick & Julie have only rented Panthers to Mick for 2 seasons, so in effect still own them at the moment. If Mick walks away after or during the 2 seasons, I would expect them to take it over again.

Dryml needs to bring his best bikes to England. Shades of Jepsen Jensen in my opinion.

Blackbird is owned by Mildenhall. Will there be enough riders to cover all the teams Good Friday ?

Think the main difference in the attendance figures was that Rye House brought loads of fans, & Plymouth didn't bring any. I also know a few fans that decided to stay in the warm & watch the Manchester derby.

Difficult for Mick to give a refund. Makes no difference to me personaly, because iv'e got a season ticket. As for the meeting, it was good to see Lewis ride so well. Think we have got the riders to win a few away matches as well.

Neil, you have obviously read the many posts regarding last nights fiasco. The sooner you respond to them, the more credibility you will get.

iand, Boxhalls front wheel hit Lewis in the middle of his back, which indicates that Lewis was ahead of him rather than level. Agree reference Fish, but he does it every time he gets outgated, so I tend to expect it after watching him last season. Still worth the admission fee on his own though, as there is never a dull moment when he is on track.

If Plymouth keep Simota & Benko until they get proper averages, he might fit in there.

Agree the referee was on a different planet to the rest of us. Heat 1 Blackbird should have been excluded, Boxhall completely wiped Blackbird out, but was allowed in the re-run, & Garrity only just got off the track after falling, with the other 3 riders nearly back round on the next lap. Fair play to the large number of Rye House fans who turned up & made a good atmosphere.

Makes them stronger in my opinion. Should be a good close meeting to start the season.

Who can take Bunyans rides, as I don't have the Rye House averages.

Always enjoyed watching James Wright, because he didn't gate very often, but always tried 100% every lap of every race. There are a fair amount of foreign riders who are a lot worse, & are still getting a wage over here. If he did decide to make a comeback, he would get my vote over them.

Was awful for Panthers about 7 years ago & suffered a serious injury. Anybody know what his form has been like recently ?

He keeps getting employed by various owners, but our fortunes changed for the better when Sully took over as team manager last season. Don't think Blayne will have the same effect this year.

Fair point Crump 99. Just watched the lads have a few laps, & they all looked pretty sharp. Will get a better idea tuesday when they are up against 3 other riders.

Crump 99, you could have had your tea at home, & a couple of cokes, the whole evening would have cost you a tenner. Enjoyed the evening, & thought that Swales was hilarious when he refused to tell us the riding order & then changed his mind 10 minutes later, only to then not know it himself.

Bullet, the only bit of your post I agree with is the fact I got the name of the team wrong. Thats not to say you are wrong, because we all have different opinions. That's what makes this forum interesting for the majority of the users.

Why not do both. Think a good crowd tonight sends out a positive message to the new owners. I will be thanking them all personally tonight because I don't think I could follow any other team full time, & whatever problems Speedway has, I have missed it over the last few months & cant wait to get started again.
