Darcy Ward
proud panther replied to Seymour Dix's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Love him or hate him, the GPs will be more enjoyable with Darcy back in them. Love Emil to be tempted back as well. -
Went to Blunsden before Cardiff, & have to say the developers haven't had any planning problems with the houses, there was loads built. Couldn't work out where the new stadium & car park were being built.

Denis99, where is all the riders coming from to fill all the present teams ? Loads double up at present, & to take the top boys out would mean you would need about 100 more riders to get 8 in a team. -
Peterborough Panthers 2015
proud panther replied to mudflaps's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Konopka should be able to ride, because he got an average at Redcar. Stopping Robert Lambert riding because he didn't get a proper average because GB wanted him for the World Cup just about sums up the muppets running the sport. -
Kings Lynn V Wolves 16th July
proud panther replied to Haza's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Have to agree semion, if that was a good meeting, I wouldn't want to attend a bad one. -
Coventry V Wolves Friday 10th July
proud panther replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Surely there isn't enough riders to amalgamate the top 2 divisions, unless we run with 6 man teams ? Would seriously weaken the NL. -

Give Grondal a couple of weeks to get his set up right, & he could score reasonable points. Lets continue to support the promotion, because we don't want to be in the same position as we were at the end of last season regarding if we are running or not. -
Future Of Scunthorpe Scorpions
proud panther replied to lucifer sam's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Think Scunthorpe is one of the best tracks in the country, & would be gutted to see it close. Why is the National League not an option Rob ? -

If that's correct Neil, why is Rathbone saying we can only sign a second string ? -

Rob, could you tell me how many points Peterborough have available to replace Olly Allen ? -

We should congratulate the management for getting Thorssell, because there isn't much out there on that average. Next they need to give Konopka an engine that will start, & give him a chance to be competitive. -

Lukas, feel that it would be wrong to say who it is, perhaps should have said nothing. -

He will score more than 6 points in my opinion. -
Peterborough Panthers 2015
proud panther replied to mudflaps's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Not enough points for him to be number 1, but a good rider in my opinion. -

Think the fans will be happy with our new rider, but will let the management announce it. -
Peterborough V Plymouth Pl 28th June
proud panther replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
We cant get out the gate, & with a slick track that will cause problems. Credit to Plymouth, they deserved the win on the day. We need to prepare the track grippy if we want to get the best out our current team of racers. -

Don't think we will make the play offs unless we find a gem to replace Olly. -

James Wright isn't in a declared 1-7, but guests occasionally. -

dazpanther, tend to agree that Grondal wont get near to his assessed 7 point average, but R/R for the rest of the season isn't ideal either. The new management need to build their own asset base, so may go with Grondal, & hope he comes good in the future. -
Peterborough V Glasgow 24/6/15
proud panther replied to Noodles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The crowd was good for a sky match, although a lot of people got in for free. Thought the meeting was good from the grandstand, but maybe that was down to the score being close. Although there wasn't as much overtaking as usual, the racing was close, & there were a few twists & turns for various reasons. Have only seen it once, but thought Kurtz was unlucky to be excluded. Might change my mind when I watch replays on Sky tomorrow. -

Would think the money is good, & hope a fresh start enables him to get back to his best form, after tonight LOL. -
Name them then, because I was struggling to think of many due to Elite riders over 6 being banned, & our Sunday meetings ruling out riders who ride in Poland. Sheffield have not been able to replace Stead.
-
dazpanther, who would you have replaced Allen with out of interest ?
