The bond wont cover much more than the rent that is owed.

So Glasgow could win the Championship, beat Leicester in the play off's, then refuse to go up. Meanwhile, Buxton finish bottom of the National League, but apply to join the Premiership, & are accepted. No wonder people don't take Speedway seriously !!
-
So new promoters will come in & the old promotion will be declared bankrupt, or am I reading the statement wrong ? The riders wont get the wages they are owed if that's the case. Piss poor from Morton & co either way.

Well the promoters need to negotiate a cheaper rent, because if they go bust, the landlords will get no rent. -
Leicester is a cracking venue, & if the track alterations are completed, it could be a viable business for the right people. I would definitely attend more often, because the viewing & atmosphere is brilliant in my opinion.

The point I was making was that Rasmussen didn't cost any air fares. Thoroughly nice bloke to boot, apart from his terrible hair lol.

Somerset V Sheffield 27.10.16
proud panther replied to Cliffeboy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Somerset were the best team over the course of the season, so I'm really pleased that they won the play offs. Gary May knows how to build a team, & Jack Holder must be in his thoughts for next year, as he could put 1.5 points on his starting average. -
Red Flag, it's completely relevant if you read all the thread correctly.

Jens Rasmussen lived in Whittlesey, near Peterborough, when he rode in England.

Find an Elite team that pays him on time.

Where has it been confirmed that the number 7 will be on a 2 point average ? -
What year, ER ?

Michael Lee was the most talented 16 year old I ever had the pleasure of watching, & was better than Lambert is now. Still think Lambert can go to the top, especially if he keeps improving his gating, at the rate he has this year.

Would put Jack Holder high on my list, but think he will end up at Somerset. -
Rob Lyons is far too intelligent to get tangled up with Horton, surely ?
-
So one minute Hancock is saying he is nothing without his wonderful team of mechanics, & the next minute he is saying they never spotted a dodgy clutch for 3 races. What a load of old cobblers. Ban him from the first GP next year.

Cracking meeting & a brilliant GP series, in my opinion. Get Emil back in next year, & it could be even better. Well done Chris Holder.
-
I blame Matt Ford & Poole, what do you think Gavan ?

Just what I was thinking, roguetrader.

Terrific news, hope Plymouth, Workington & Leicester are as fortunate, & all run next season. -

Really hope that Workington survive, but if they didn't, would be happy with Ricky Wells at number 1. -
Scroggins or Watson for team manager, both fall into the pay bracket, ie nothing.

I enjoyed the forum last night, & judging by the comments regarding England, maybe it wasn't bad planning after all lol.
