Peterbrough V Redcar Sunday. Ch

What a perfect name for you Sly Fox. Ged will swap the team to try to win a trophy, but he isn't a cheat. -
Panthers V Sheffield 14/07
proud panther replied to Lukas's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Doolan was worse than rubbish. Would be interested to know if he was on points money, or a guaranteed fee ? Didn't think we could win after 6 races, as we had 3 riders who couldn't beat an egg, never mind a tiger !!!!!! -

With the massive difference in the quality of teams, I don't expect much entertainment. Hope to be proved wrong however. -
Was Shanes still on a 2 point average when he guested for Sheffield ?

Thought Zach rode well, & was always on the pace. Would think he could be in the frame if we decide to replace Bacon. -

Bacon needs to do a few laps round the boards after the main meeting to get confidence to leave the white line. He gets passed every week, after getting into good scoring positions. Time for Bomber to give him a few tips in my opinion. -

Hall needs to spend a lot more than a grand to score points in my opinion. He has looked slow for the last couple of seasons. -
Starke has been solid for Panthers this season, & will probably score more than Newman on current form. Still think that Poole should have given Newman a few matches at reserve, to get his confidence up again.

Must agree that Ulrich's average is pathetic, especially when you consider he has had the luxury of riding at 4 most of the season. -
Scunthorpe V Peterborough Koc
proud panther replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
HT, was you at the meeting, because there was no chance the track was going to be rideable. Godfrey wouldn't have made all that effort if Scunthorpe had been behind at the time the rain came. I want to be entertained when I go to speedway, & if we win it's a bonus. That's why I go to Scunthorpe every time Peterborough are riding there. Yesterday left a sour taste in my mouth, & I am questioning if I want to part with any more money to line his pockets. -
Scunthorpe V Peterborough Koc

I was there, & the track was never going to be fit to ride. Godfrey was desperate to get the meeting back on, but made a bad decision keeping us all in the stadium for that length of time, in my opinion. Once again, the paying customer is the last person on a greedy promoters mind. The fact the woman on the gate didn't know who we had to email for a refund speaks volumes for the way we are treated. We were very lucky that the rain came, as we looked like we were heading for a heavy defeat. -

Looking forward to a good close match, & hopefully some good battles on a good track. Think Newman is key for us, if he can score 6-8 points, we could just win this, with Harris, Ostergaard & Starke able to score double figures. -
King's Lynn Stars 2017
proud panther replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Porsing hasn't hardly improved since he started at Lynn, & is the weak link, in my opinion. -
I would rather give Paul Hurry credit for getting back on a bike in his forties, after the terrible injuries he has had in the past. He deserved a reduction for his time out of the saddle in my opinion. Don't forget Lindback got his average reduced last year, in very different circumstances.

Ulrich is good round Scunthorpe, but his engines seem too slow for a big track like Peterborough.
-
Hansen was dreadful at Scunthorpe earlier in the season, so don't think it will be him.

Hope you mean't guesting Flappy lol. Hansen reminds me of Porsing, thinks he is a superstar, but in reality, is very average. -

Great signing, even if we lose at the Showground, Bomber will hopefully make it worthwhile, as he can't gate, & loves the Peterborough track. Now make it grippy, because we have got a team of racers, so give them something to race on. Hansen has been crap, & can have no complaints. -

Scotsman, you are turning into Shovlar, with your negative outlook for your team. Panthers will do well to get 40 with a tactical thrown in. Would love to be proved wrong though. -

Glasgow rode on a Sunday last year, & had a good team, so it can be done. -

Think Berge would be a good signing, he looked quick when he rode here last year. -

I think NEP has a good point. We are talking 1 fixture, & I would rather look to reschedule it, & watch our own riders. -
Newcastle Diamonds V Peterborough Panthers - 21/5

Fair play to them, done Northern tours, & they are good fun, but hard work when you end up watching a patched up team. -

Be happy to get 40 points with that line up. Can't see many Panthers fans going up for this. -

Been raining all morning in Whittlesey, which is only 9 miles from the Showground, so will be amazed if this is still on.
