Surely there is a chance that the points limit will have to be reduced, making it impossible for teams to declare the same 7 riders ?

I wen't to see a faith healer with a group of friends, but he was that rubbish, even the bloke in the wheelchair got up & walked out.

They are advertising on Booking.Com, but saying temporally closed. Thought that was Covid 19, but would appreciate anyone being able to confirm this please. -

The wife likes the look of the Thistle hotel, has anyone stopped there. We also need a nice steakhouse if we go, any suggestions ? -

I'm considering taking my in laws to Poole for their 50th wedding anniversary over the August bank holiday weekend. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel & restaurant please ? -
And BMX racing, what a bunch of knobs at the top end of that amateur sport !!

Try going to show jumping events if you want to see snobbery. My daughter competed for 7 years at local events, & the majority of the people were wanna be snobs.
-
Well I'm agreeing with you xx

Watched NL for a couple of seasons, & always enjoyed it. Watching Adam Ellis come to Mildenhall & tear it up against a powerful Mildenhall top 3 was a brilliant afternoon. Would rather have that standard of speedway than none at all. Question is, would we have enough riders willing to ride part time, & also get a job ?
-
Agree with you, out of interest, what price would be acceptable to you ?
-
Maybe I'm forgetting the fact that long term speedway fans are getting older & are unable to attend, or passing away. Agree it's a mystery why Belle Vue isn't supported more. If I lived near there, I would go every week.
-
Very true, but £10 is not feasible with the current riders in Britain. Recent events may solve this problem, with lower standard riders our only option.
-
We won't get speedway for £10, never mind a fiver. Get the tracks right for good racing, & the average speedway fan wouldn't have a problem with admission prices.

It might be all over for Rye House

Game over for Speedway. Used to love my trips to Rye House, from the pub nearby, to the unusual camber on the first bend. Tragic. -

You could be right, but it's a strange business strategy to run a business down, when you are trying to sell it. A lot of planning applications have been turned down, but accepted at a later date. -

Greyhound trainers have had a rise of about 50p per race over the last 10 years. It's had a lot of 4 dog races recently, as the trainers are going elsewhere. The stadium was making loads of money through entrance fees, drink, food & the tote, with better crowds than speedway. Scoobydo is on the money with building land in my opinion. -

Plan C has got to be open a micro brewery, & pay yourself a massive salary as chief taster !!

In my opinion, the promoters should be working on an individual championship, involving all the riders that stay loyal to our leagues. Pay points money through the qualifying rounds, & up it for a Grand Prix type series for the top 16 qualifiers. Always assuming we are allowed to attend meetings, & the government don't demand all meetings have to be behind closed doors.
