I was standing on the back straight where i heard people cheering. I put this down to a bit of fun, like in panto, but as soon as Ricky got flicked off my wife and i could tell that it was not going to be good and these people who i imagine were seasoned attendies should have realised the same. Although Ricky has ridden for Sheffield against Berwick and was sometimes classed as a bit of a panto villan in the past, he has been taken into the Berwick clan and is now one of us. He is also part of the greater speedway family and everybody wishes him and his family all the best. We want to see him back up and about asap and giving his punch bag in the berwick pits what for.

Just arrived back at the travel tavern from the meeting. The announcer didn't sound too confident when he said the meeting was abandoned. Hope good news is forth coming from the hospital. Get well soon Ricky, we're all thinking about you.

Well done the Promotion, seeing the problem and addressing it, maybe not straight away but sometime these things take time to sort through. Should be entertaining to see Eddie go round Berwick. Hopefully pick up some away points as well. Hope Paul goes well. Get well soon Ricky.

My wife attended the meating last night as i was at work. This is the first time she had ever left any meating before completion, didnt even stay to give the 2nd half any support which we usually do. The last couple of meatings the track seems to have two difinitive lines, the inside one and the outside. Set the bike up for the inside and great gate and go racing, touch the deeper stuff and the bike die's and you'll go backwards. Has installing the safety fence made the track slightly narrower?
