  1. There always seems to be trouble surrounding cook! He wholeheartedly believes he has world champion potential but he acts like a complete spoilt idiot, not a very professional person, who seems to take all comments the wrong way and reacts then conveniently apologises and everything is ok!! well its not.. its a crap way to behave!! strongly believe here that a good/professional rider needs to be the complete package, both on and off track........... Unfortunately Cook don't have that, he has the ability to be decent, but nowhere near as good as he thinks he can be!! plus he looks like a rodent!!! someone needs to tell him to get over himself!
  2. The demon drink does things like that to us all but ill no have anything bad about screeny on here, hes a top bloke
  3. 4 riders scoring well above there averages. Doesn't matter that they were beaten by a mid table side, Glasgow are one of the worst teams in the league right now the point I was making was that they were narrowly beaten by a much better team & compared to the hammerings they have taken over the weeks & the effort the riders put in yesterday I thought it was a massive improvement. (IMO)
  4. screen got 11 points! how does that seem like an uninterested rider??? how can you say a poor looking team when the bandits (who put in an excellent performance) have a far better team than Glasgow and won by only only 2 points??? if anything I thought this was a very close meeting and a massive improvement for Glasgow compared to the last few weeks, I doubt there will be many home defeats on the way as its unlikely that Glasgow will come up against many teams with the strength and depth that Berwick have.
  5. If Edberg decides to leave berwick it will only be down to the lack of support & constant sniping from the small minority of so called "fans", which would be f***ing disgusting all the same i wouldnt blame him though nobody should have to put up with it, he is a reserve with a 4 point average hes not Tomasz Gollob FFS, there are other riders underperforming at Berwick not just him!!! Good to know the riders of Berwick Bandits can count on the support of there fans when they are going through tough times
  6. Shouldnt fans get behind there riders when they are struggling instead of throwing critisism there way on a weekly basis (which is only going to make there confidence worse than it already is). I actually seen someone on facebook arguing with Edberg on how to ride the track?????? Its not Edbergs fault they lost the meeting, Berwick lost the meeting because Ashworths replcement wasnt good enough, 3 points from your number 1 rider is no where near good enough and any other team whos number 1 rider scored 3 points would lose at home & so what if they lost it was a decent night and a massive improvment on the last couple of weeks racing. GET BEHIND YOUR TEAM FFS!!!!!
  7. Cheers i had to go and have a lie down in a darkened room after i wrote it ha
  8. Definatley, racing was much better tonight i dont care who wins at any meeting (its an added bonus if my team win) as long as theres good racing and good racing is what gets fans through the gates. yeah what is the deal with the music at berwick it sounds like a mobile disco for kids. Dunno about anyone else but some fast heavy music is whats needed and its what would get the adrenaline pumping, s club 7 definatley doesnt do that!!
  9. Sorry was just having a bit of a joke didn't realise the speedway police were on patrol today.
  10. Very true screm, though I did hear a rumour going round that John Anderson was dressing up as a speedway promoter.
  11. Fancy dress sounds worrying, looks good on the darts in an indoor, loud and busy, booze driven environment however in a small town in north Northumberland may look a bit bizarre & cringe worthy, especially if only a handful of people turn up in fancy dress.
  12. Its an idea nonetheless which is better than no ideas at all.
  13. Just seen this on the monarchs website, an excellent idea I think. Something the Berwick promotion should maybe consider. For many of the earlier years at Armadale we operated a system that allowed supporters to apply for a complementary ticket to bring a friend, new or returning, to Armadale Speedway on the basis that they might become regular fans. Starting on Friday night it will be possible to request up to four tickets for the following week’s meeting so that you can bring your friends to try our new Armadale Experience. So on Friday you can request tickets for our match against Glasgow on 10th May. Application should be made to the video table on the Monarchs Mall. You will be asked to provide the names of your friends, address and, if available, an email address as we would like to get some feedback on our show to help us make improvements. Tickets will be available every week until the end of the season under this scheme.
