  1. Like every top rider I’d imagine 80% of their earnings come from Poland. Musielak has ridden for Wolverhampton , Swindon and Sheffield without any issues and not missing meetings at a moments notice unlike many poles who haven’t been as committed to British speedway.
  2. When and who was the last rider to claim publicly they haven’t been paid during the season. unfortunately it’s fairly common in Poland Sweden and England. But generally the riders don’t call it out til after the season has finished as they don’t want to rock the boat as they hope payment is forthcoming. When they realise it isn’t only then do they say so publicly. I too have no idea if this is the situation musielak has experienced and to be fair I’ve never heard of Buster not paying on time. But I think that the truth may be very different to what’s in the public domain. But I’m sure we will never know.
  3. If this situation with tobi went to court the BSPL would not have a leg to stand on. it just needs a brave promoter to take on the cartel.
  4. I never ever take a win for granted. We have got our fingers burnt many time. Craven shield 1997 when Parker passed Rickardsson and Louis to win.
  5. Hopefully Ipswich have booked Tom Brennan for this meeting.
  6. I’m going for the replacement rider featured in the Ben fund meeting.
  7. Trouble is you need them more than they need you. we have lost so many teams over the last ten years so the rider pool is ever decreasing. two wrongs don’t make a right
  8. Trouble is when you burn your bridges when you need a guest your options are more limited. Looks like mpt can be added to the list too.
  9. I’m sure he will do exactly that. And that is the problem why you struggle to attract riders and struggle to retain them.
  10. I don’t see how the authorities could as if there isn’t any better options. You can’t call off meetings due to riders injuries or availability. We would only have a few meetings in April otherwise
  11. Ben Barker and Jake Allen. Simon lambert jye etheridge antti voulas whilst none are up to the standard of the riders they are replacing they all could do a decent job
  12. Surely if it’s a financial decision then magic would be gone. Especially if he is being paid as a number one but riding like a second string. can’t see much of a saving on kemp for Killeen personally. It’s a double whammy too as not only are you replacing a second string with a reserve you are also loosing a high scoring reserve into the team. then to make this move now and jeopardise your place in the playoffs is beyond madness.
  13. Would mpt do it ? Didn’t seem very happy to be released
  14. Completely agree. It’s incredible to weaken 3 times in a season and remove a high scoring reserve just as you are in the running for the play offs. bonkers
  15. The two times I’ve seen him he has lost control and crashed into the other riders.
  16. Mind you Rohan wasn’t very keen at the Ipswich abandonment at Oxford.
  17. Were both the Belle vue riders Australian by any chance ?
