Which Rider Have You Never Taken To?
Racin Jason 72 replied to phillipsr's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Never liked crump, Sullivan Tatum and havelock as away riders and ones who rode for Ipswich would include savalas clouting and emmerson fairweather. Add Richard green ,jan pedersen the one who gated for arena Essex Add Richard green ,jan pedersen the one who gated for arena Essex -

Josh bates guested for us at Ipswich riding at number2. I'm sure he scored 6 paid 7 and impressed that night. It's great to see a local lad ride for his home team. I'm sure Leigh lanham and stead will help him greatly as will screeny.

Speedway Star Toothless Pussycat

A good example of how the star ignores any negative information was demonstrated perfectly a couple of weeks ago. Big feature about Gary havelock and no mention of his ban for failing a drug test ??? And cam averaged just under 5 in his debut season so the 5 assessed average seems justified.

Speedway Star W/e 28th December Edition
Racin Jason 72 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Mine turned up at the newsagents yesterday !! Yet the jan 4 edition turned up Tuesday. This I know is down to the distributer and not the speedway star as other people in Suffolk have also got the Christmas edition later than the jan 4 edition. -
Get Leigh lanham. Great team man who is consistent on most away tracks. He won't gain much on his average but won't lose much either. As a second string he would be one of the best.
-
He deserves a place. He won over the Ipswich fans totally when previously he was booed by his own fans. He gives 100% and is a team man looking out for his team mate on track. Although he might not increase his ave he won't be far off especially if used as a second string. I think the majority of fans would have chosen Leigh instead of morten tbh.

Now Bradford seemingly stalled could tony mole be your saviour ? It would be in very good hands

Leigh lanham ?? -
Did the crowds increase ? Really good crowd when Ipswich rode but Ben barker returning would explain that one.

Congratulations To Jurica Pavlic

You made me laugh old ace !! -
Got to be Ipswich. Hawkins and Ellis. As a 6 Hawkins is vastly experienced at this level and Adam has had a year to gain experience and should beat every rookie 7 as well as the other more experienced ones.

I'm guessing hoggy can only choose a team from the budget given to him. I'm sure if that fund was unlimited you would get a very different team.
-
I'm sure Todd started on a 3 so Brady must too I imagine as the criteria will be the same.
-
I know mildenhall got there air fence from Peterborough so perhaps that's what happened.
-
I wonder if it would be possible to use Peterboroughs air fence on loan whilst fund raising continues throughout the season ?

I would love to know if anybody has the statistics for the following. What percentage of meetings featured both teams without guests or R/R What percentage had guests, R/R and both ? If all 3 leagues could be worked out it may give a indication of where speedway is going wrong.

Pearson Defends The Play-off... Desperate
Racin Jason 72 replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I do like the play off system especially when the title is decided at the end few heats. But last night it was dead after heat one. We need to look at the bigger picture is the play off system better or would you prefer a full season for every club into October. A meaningful ko cop competition. Play offs are great for the teams that are in them but everyone else's season just peters out. The premier league system this year tried to over milk the cow. Instead of 6 clubs having big crowds results conspired to make several meetings pointless. If I had a choice I'm not sure which way I'd vote tbh -
For me it has to be the Alan partridge of presenters. Mike Bennett. His winding up of the away fans, massive ego and lurid clothes always made me cringe.
