Drew Kemp signs for Sheffield in the championship.

I think Rory would prefer to stay at wolves but I think his fall out with Chris Louis at foxhall at the rained off Glasgow meeting will seal his fate

Unfortunately the promoters do not listen to their customers. I think the majority of fans want more fixtures with more varied opposition and to get rid of doubling up and down. None of these have been addressed properly in this years agm. How many years did it take to get rid of the double points tactical ride. I would like to have seen the championship have two home and away fixtures. Both reserves should be nl standard and protected at reserve all season. I would promote the top 22 riders from the championship and the nl standard riders would replace them. These top riders would be elevated to the premiership where they belong. I would only allow doubling up for English riders to give them more track time. Also the nl riders would be allowed to double up so they too receive more track time and keep their confidence. This plan needs to stay in place 5 years and English youngsters would find this very beneficial. -
I see it as he has bought both clubs fully and has employed Rathbone and Louis as managers and promoters. Strangely the reason ged gave for giving up Peterborough was purely for time it took to travel down and to concentrate on his own business interests. So perhaps buster has brought him a jet too as now it’s no problem to Carry on

Peterborough Panthers 2019

As a Ipswich fan I’m very concerned about our new owner. How do you panthers fans feel about it. You all seem quite positive. -
Good question. Without is my guess

Thank goodness

It least he is honest !!! If I owned Lynn I’d give them a crap team as it would help my team. The fans and Chris Louis wanted more fixtures with more varied opposition. I believe Chris was frustrated by the lack of change and sold up as for him as his sole income would not be viable. 14 pay days per year is no good to anyone. Doubling up is continuing instead of ceasing. If you double the fixtures in the championship and make all teams have nl standard reserves so they get track time. Exclude the top 22 riders from the championship and give them premiership places. Only British riders to double up and problem solved !!

Well I’m gutted. Seems we have lost our identity and club. Buster now owns the hottest prospect in England in Drew Kemp. Every fan wants more variety and more fixtures so we get less of both. Buster has just bought clubs to prop up the premiership as terry Russell did previously. The AGM has done little to address the real problems just moved two clubs in different leagues. The social media race is open to abuse with opposing fans voting for the other clubs reserves instead of voting for their own riders. Well im now off to cancel my 400 club membership. After 23 years of paying monthly to the save our speedway fund I’m not keen on it heading to Norfolk with our rider assets.

Just like Terry Russell did when he owned Swindon and Eastbourne and put his bruvver in at arena.

I’m very disappointed to be leaving the championship especially now with two extra teams and now we have just six opponents. I will always support my team regardless of which league we are in but I really enjoyed championship racing. My fear is Buster now owns the riders so I’d expect Drew Kemp to be riding for Lynn instead of Ipswich. I remember when Buster purchased mildenhall. He kept the rider assets and sold it on within weeks. Only positive I can see is the derby meetings.

And that’s why our original team failed this year. We built a team which would have succeeded in 2017but in 2018 five teams had two number 1 riders leaving the rest to build solid teams. And that was our problem. Our reserves couldn’t compete. But for the system to work like 2017 we must stick with this plan for a min of 3 years or we won’t see the benefits. We must learn from history.

Personally I would like 7 man teams to remain. I do believe the league is far too strong and if you exclude the top 22 riders and promote two nl riders in both reserve berths in every team in the league. Give the brits a chance. Let those riders double up in the nl to give them plenty of track time and that will help the transition into the championship. Maybe keep these riders at reserve all season to stop poor quality foreign riders and has beens from dropping into the reserve berths.

I don’t believe Ipswich are contemplating going “up” Chris louis will do what’s best financially for the club as it’s his living. He won’t gamble going into the premiership quite rightly imo. Publicaly he has said he looks at the possibility every year which I’m sure he does. Probably for a second and then settles for being a very competitive team in the best run league.

If it is him you will close down soon. Has ruined Peterborough twice mildenhall and Coventry. Well meaning buffoon. And his brother was even worse. -

Ben Barker commented a few weeks ago he wasn’t a asset when he thought he was. What about Jason Garrity wasn’t he sold on to scunny in return for MPT. -
