Ipswich vs Peterborough June 6th 7.30pm
Racin Jason 72 replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Why have rider replacement at 5 when you have to use a reserve in 3 of the rider replacement rides. Madness !!!! -
I’d be very surprised if we do. He was signed as there are no other riders willing or suitable so I’m guessing he will stay. Ive been pleased with his efforts but obviously we need more points from him.

Full credit to Eastbourne for being up front and honest. Much rather have the truth than some yarn about power failure/ stadium unavailability etc etc -
My money is on Simon Lambert

Ipswich v Wolves 20th May
Racin Jason 72 replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Does anyone have a recording of the BT Sport coverage of this meeting that they could put on a dvd. Obviously I’ll pay for disc and postage. Anyone who could help please pm me. Thanks in advance jason -
I would suggest none of the clubs were left in a better state after micks efforts. And im certain Sandhu chose Mick as a promoter as he knew he would mess up and ultimately take the blame for closing the place.

Mick Horton slipped through the net several times. Killed Peterborough twice mildenhall once and Coventry once. Team manager at Oxford whilst his brother killed that club.

I think the difference is the witches fans had low expectations and Peterborough’s original team was far stronger than what they ended up with. -
Jimmy nilsen went to live in America I believe

Sheffield used to be a brilliant track as did kings lynn but both seem to be a shadows of their former glories. I think the bikes are now going flat out and the older tracks are too narrow with the greater speeds Belle Vue has proved on the right shape and size brilliant racing can be produced but unfortunately all of the old stadiums have size constraints. Somerset and Scunthorpe are both brilliant tracks built in wide open spaces. Won’t mention Leicester

Sheffield Vs Leicester CS 21st April

Bang on. But you won’t find a nicer guy and he is a really good captain. I watched Danny since he was 15 at mildenhall and the negatives are he doesn’t look round or team ride. However the positives outweigh all that and I’m happy we have him at Ipswich. -

Danny can’t team ride to save his life. Doesn’t ever look behind til the 4th lap. He tried a few seasons ago at Ipswich and got passed so doesn’t bother anymore -

He isn’t a heat leader anymore according to Bluster -
I remember nki riding for Lynn under waggy aged 19. Looked similar but learned his trade at Newport and gradually became a fantastic rider.

There are no heat leaders out there who are prepared to ride in the U.K. for the money on offer. All this nonsense about wanting fixed race nights so they could return here is rubbish. Simple facts are if you matched or bettered the money offered in Sweden or Poland they would be queued up to return. And those days are long gone. -
How was the crowd for a Sunday compared to Thursdays ?

Promoters need to stick to a budget. Can’t afford to lose any more clubs. Cookie is obviously expensive to employ but no rider is bigger than the club. -

Whilst I feel sorry for you guys didn’t I say this two months ago that ged broke the wage ceiling on two of his heat leaders and they were going to have to ride for busters rate or find somewhere else to ride. I got loads of stick and told I was making it up. I accept your apologies
