John has given Sterling service to Ipswich speedway as a rider and as a promoter. Genuinely humble and a top guy. I think he should be nominated for a MBE or OBE. Not sure how you go about that but perhaps someone out there can advise as John really does deserve to be recognised. A genuine legend.

Excellent news.

My club Ipswich has gone from being one of the first to announce the team in one go in November to being the last to sort the team. Social media interaction was very good previously and that’s changed for the worse. Its 2019 not 1978. People can access information instantly and expect to so why drag out announcements on riders. I could accept one per day for a week but this is crazy. You are alienating your regular customers for what ??

Bang on the money. -
Biggest mistake British speedway made was to abolish compulsory junior teams.
-
Drew Kemp who has been riding pre meeting and second halves every week as a 14 year old Danny king has also been very helpful and worked with drew on setting up his clutch.

Thank you to the BSPA

We need to embrace social media and speedway could be groundbreaking going forward. Have a app for your mobile which you can use to fill your programme in. Still have all the editorial features and advertising. Then every race day you would be sent a reminder of the evenings fixture with all the team news. Regular updates for weather reports and even photos of the track so you can see if it is really dry !! i would have a camera person in the pits filming all through the meeting which can be streamed onto your app. Action from the pits and interviews could be watched while waiting for the next heat. You could have questions posed like guess the score of the next heat or who would you put in as a tactical ? Youngsters are not going to come in it’s present form as there are too many delays between races. -
I am grateful that the louis have stayed for so long and given us stability in the last 30 years. I don’t blame them for selling up as I believe Chris Is hugely frustrated with the small fixture list and short sighted attitude f other promoters. How anyone can run a business with just 14 pay days to earn enough to get a yearly wage is beyond me. Just hope we have lots of good racing if we cannot have success.

Oh dear. I’m underwhelmed

It’s just a guess. My theory is if iversen wasn’t riding in the U.K. he would have made a announcement before now. So that leads me to presume that’s at Lynn. I don’t think Lynn can fit iversen Riss and proctor in so I’m guessing it might e Jorgensen as his ave fits and he is pretty decent at Ipswich.
-
my guess it’s Harris and Jorgensen

Maybe they asked one of the three Peterborough heat leaders to volunteer to move. I’m sure if he had been sacked he would have made a comment. -
He changed after his spell with Poole I think he thought he was on par with the turbo twins and his attitude was never the same afterwards.

I won’t hold my breath. -
I’m very happy to accept their apologies

It’s a bit ominous that Neil Watson hasn’t answered any concerns -
Has he officially retired or just not got a team place as yet ???
-
Me neither. I only cheered for him once after his 3rd exclusion at the British gp. My favourite crump race was when Tony Rickardsson team rode Toni svab home at Peterborough. Tony pinned him to the line and took him to the fence and just totally outrode him on his home track

Tomasz struggled around wolves always going too wide exiting bend 2. Belle Vue was another dodgy one for him and yet he was absolutely superb around Eastbourne.
-
Looks like we are going for a solid team
-
I would not be surprised to see auty at kings Lynn and garrity at Ipswich.
-
Ok. Holds his U.K. registration then.
-
I’d be very very surprised if tungate signs for us even though we own him.
-
As kasper lined up for Sheffield last year on a 5.2 that’s what he will start on at Sheffield. Presuming he signed for Sheffield first rather than kings Lynn then I guess it’s a 6 otherwise Clear as mud !!!
