I would have thought it isn’t the court case but possibly he spent his budget on getting a proper number one and the rest of the team isn’t performing which is partly down to lack of meetings which is partly bluster’s fault. it’s more difficult to get guests as sometimes only one other team isn’t riding on the same night. add the problem of him falling out with several other riders and not being prepared to pay the going rate for heat leaders. All this makes thinks more difficult. his stubbornness is costing him dearly.

Is that under the section where rules only apply when convenient to kings lynn

I imagine bluster has been told his fate regarding a fine or sanctions and has threatened to pull the plug on the stars so the SCB are trying to prevent that happening before disclosing the punishment.

I remember Ipswich being visitors to lynn being second meeting in a double header. Our meeting didn’t start till 10 pm and we left at midnight. Buster got the track sorted and we saw 2 cracking meetings. One thing Buster is good at is preparing a track in difficult conditions. And I know how frustrated I’d be if I spent two hours getting a track in shape only for the riders not to even try to give it a go. But now every time he calls a meeting off people are going to be cynical. We all understand why we can’t have meetings in wet conditions and accept that.

I’m guessing today we may find out as the SCB are meeting to decide on Lee complins future so presumably kings Lynns fate is decided. im guessing a large fine which will be suspended providing no further dodgy rain offs. so seen to be punishing but not actually.

I think you need to look deeper into why kings lynn are struggling to attract enough fans. do you remember Brian Havelock running Redcar ? He had poor teams year on year with the same riders and apathy towards the fans. Crowds dropped further and further each year. Interesting enough though the club always made a profit. then a new promotion with enthusiasm invested into the team and engaged with the fans. crowds returned to see good entertaining racing on a well prepared track. look how the Courtney’s run Berwick and Oxford. They too engage with the fans. Buster is tired and fed up and it shows. It’s minimal effort and open the turnstiles and it’s a take it or leave it attitude and a complete contempt of his customers. all lynns troubles are from the top and the owner.

So when Ipswich went to Belle Vue without Jason Doyle who was 100% fit but the plane was cancelled should that meeting been called off ??

How is that different then? If he is missing though availability or injury then you are entitled to a guest. Absolutely no reason to postpone tonight’s fixture

What happens if he gets injured tonight (and I sincerely hope he doesn’t)? Do you postpone all further fixtures til the riders are fit to resume ?

It’s two guests like everyone else has to do or R/R and one guest. just because the promoter has fallen out with so many riders and isn’t prepared to pay the going rate, that’s down to him. He also chose to sign 3 polish based riders which as everyone knows and has been the case for decades can be withdrawn at a whim by their polish clubs.

Looking forward to seeing Lynn at foxhall on Monday. only Sheffield not riding so guests will be very limited. Hopefully Josh Pickering will be covering for Danny king. Which leaves woffinden and the holder brothers available to cover for musielak. Neither holders like foxhall and probably wouldn’t choose to guest and I imagine woffinden would not be affordable.
