There will be a lot of interest in these engines as the Uprights are becoming the thing to have for the older participants on the amateur racing scene. Price depends on condition and model of engine. You appear to be buying to sell on, so you don't want to be paying a lot. If you want to send me pictures of the motors , I'll make you an offer and you know where your batting then!

I was pointing out that there were 3 point riders in the MDL Riders final who's average was 3 points in the MDL....nothing to do with National League averages. I know exactly why each rider was in the final as the teams selected their own representative, the averages were not a consideration, as just about every rider involved had appeared for numerous teams within the MDL. As we all know, Speedway is ' Bizarre' ....but we love it!

Bizarre? No more ' bizarre ' than a rider with a three point average appearing in the MDL riders final when many others were ignored. Ryan was given the opportunity to defend his title, after consultation with all the team managers as he had ridden in the league and had two further team appearances washed out.

Legally....there are no beaches you can ride on without breaking the law or, worse, a local environment agency bylaw. Chose your location very carefully and speak to the local riders to see where is ' acceptable' to ride so as not to risk having your bike seized by the local constabulary. Even Dogs crapping on the beach is breaking a law these days, if there's anyone there to enforce it!

Redcar Speedway will be running an Amateur meeting on Saturday 10 th October with an 11 am Start time. Entries permitting we hope to run classes for 500cc Novice , Support and Open Class Up to 150cc , Novice and Open class 250 cc and an Upright class if a minimum of four riders enter. The number of entries will determine the format used,( i.e. Lots of entries may mean top scorer after 5 rides is the winner) Fee will be £40 for Adults, £20 Youths. There will be an Open Practice session on Saturday 19th September starting at 10.30 am until 2.30 ish on the newly relaid track. Session is for those with their own equipment only and costs £40 for the day. It is hoped to run a full AMATEUR MEETING in mid October , date to be confirmed. Bears put up a decent fight and might have been a lot closer had Kus and Wethers not had to use 2 nd choice bikes. Not much racing as little in the way of overtaking , despite what looked like a decent race surface but close score kept it interesting. Bates looks quick, when he gates.Bellego unrecognisable from the away performances he's produced! Not sure I like ( or even that it's legal?) announcer talking about the race result when they are still on the last lap. Nice to see Berge in amongst the scorers for the Bears. No Andersson for the Bears tonight so going to be a close return match.
