  1. Course we would! Doesn't make it any less fun seeing all the Pussycats biting! Score prediction of Panthers 50 Comets 40. Lambert to magically find the form he's been missing this season.
  2. The meeting starts at 5pm, oh no wait, the Showground wasn't available until later... Meeting starts at 7pm, unless Bomber is late. Meeting starts at 8pm, miraculously allowing Bomber to take his place in heat 1 following a tractor breaking down on track or something equally ridiculous. The meeting has to start at 7pm. Hopefully the ref is on the ball enough to keep tabs on it. I have my doubts though.
  3. Windermere is actually a 'Mere' similar to Buttermere, Thirlmere and Grasmere. People sometimes refer to it as Lake Windermere to differentiate it from the town of Windermere. Enough partying for me on a Saturday night! Cracking win for the Comets, best wishes to Rob.
  4. You've really got it in for Mason haven't you??? Did he run over your cat or something? There is blantently other Comets riders struggling far more than Mason yet you choose to pick on him... Bizarre.
  5. How come Somerset get a facility for Tungate being in Poland? Is it because it's a rearranged fixture?
  6. We also won in the 2013 play offs as well. Still expect us to get beat by 30 or so!
  7. Forecast looking much better, looking forward to this
  8. The pitch and track get close in the corners but there is space to push a bike around the pitch as most riders do. Davies tried to cut across as a short cut.
  9. Sadly there were no heat winners for the Scorps The incident between the flagman and Davies was disgusting, the flagman was rightly telling him to keep off the pitch but Davies pushed and may have even threw a punch at him. The flagman followed him into the pits and had to be restrained. Davies should have been out of the meeting. Pretty routine win for Comets, well done to Raj!
  10. No love lost between those 2 and it shows at times but 9 times out of 10 Cookie comes out on top when it matters
  11. He doesn't ride Poland anymore, he hasn't missed any of our fixtures for riding for other teams, just Thursday for the Danish Final last night.
  12. Fantastic from Adam, hopefully this is the 2012 Roynon coming back. A win over the two meetings too, a repeat in the League Cup semi would be good!!!
  13. Best of luck to Rene, fantastic rider on his day.
  14. Could you get Cookie to lower his average a bit for us for 2017 too please? Ta
  15. Of course you will, we've only got half a team! No Danes due to injury and the Danish Final, so in come Ryan Douglas, MPT and our old friend R/R. Don't know why this wasn't moved for the benefit of the paying public
  16. That's true, we may have Cookie lined up for next year, he only lives 10 miles from our track!
  17. Kenneth loves Workington, his favourite club and track. Good to see him getting some practice before the Comets visit in the league.
  18. Have yourself a run up to Cumbria next weekend and you can watch him sailing around the outside of the Rebels
  19. Kenneth can pass unlike Klindt. It's more entertaining when he doesn't make the gate because he is poetry in motion around Derwent Park, most exciting rider since Simon Stead was there. He just seems to take a long time to get dialled into tracks, he struggled at the start of last year at home and never got going away from home because he'd never seen most of the tracks, his average is going up all the time so he is getting better in the Premier League.
  20. 14 points behind, I think it's going to be very close next week, possibly a Heat 15 decider. Disappointing night for the lower order, better from Kenneth away from home.
  21. Why is Hollub on a 3.00? I thought all foreigners had to remain a 5.00 at the lowest. It was supposed to keep sub-standard foreigners from taking British youngsters places.
