Any one have any idea how much it costs them to be in the gps because at present it must be a fantastic way to lose money.Also how the hell are they so far behind all the time sometimes its nearly the length of the straight , surely their bikes cant be that bad.Best they both give up the gp's and go back to grasstrack as they were both pretty good on that.

To be honest unless your into watching drag racing its not woth worrying who will be in the gps next year its just getting very boring and who ever replaces the brits wont make much difference to the final standings next season anyway.Am sick to death of watching processional racing with the chimps from sky trying to make it sound exciting.

Simple answer really is chris good enough to be in the gps's - YES are his bikes good enough - NO Bombers equipment seems so much slower than anyone elses , why because of crap set up ? crap engines ? either way the boy can ride a bike and when on one that is set up and working correctly he can beat anyone in the world . It seems to me people on this forum think chris loves tootling round at the back but lets be honest here hes probabaly fairly cheesed of about how things are going. Never mind next year unless chris's fortunes change some other poor chap will have his name in a title asking if he should be in the gps and we can all moan because there are no brits in the gps .

well done to crumpy im pleased that he won , happy that chris did ok but too little too late for this season im afraid, not bothered about scott fed up with the excuses to be honest . over all not a bad gp but must admit they dont seem as exciting as they used to be.

For what its worth i think all the young lads did really well and would personally have liked to watch them do a few more races than listen to belinda carlisle.Guess you cant please everyone.Once again well done boys

Yes harris had a crap gp but he was going to get second and was robbed of automatic promotion ,even if he does get a wild card its not the same as qualifying on merit. If it was the other way round nicholls toys would have been out of the pram for certain and hed be making his normal excuses.Wild card or not for next year im one pissed off cornishman

But if the ref had some balls he would have been excluded

Crikey its like a war zone on here at the moment At the end of the day Poland won and great britain were crap and came last. To be honest it wasnt that big a surprise. Perhaps the best way to find out why gb were so bad is to simply ask the riders when you see them in their next league matches (as we all know bomber etc has fast kit) why they were so slow and maybe we might have some answers!!! After all just because we dont have an 80cc league for the kids at present it didnt make a blind bit diference to how we rode last night as we know at least two of our riders are in the gps and can ride with the best and also why their bikes seemed so slow. Just a suggestion

Have woken up today with a sore throat and thumping head but hell it worth it , I know im biased being cornish etc but Chris Harris is the best thing to happen to the GP series in years WE ARE SO PROUD CONGRATULATIONS MATE. also the 435quid i won on you was nice !!!

Looks like the attendance may be down from reading forum posts but there will be lots of new people going up from cornwall to cheer on chris. Its my 7 year old sons first ever live meeting and im even giving one of my elderly neighbours a lift up , he hasnt been for 20 odd years apparently so I hope they both enjoy it.

Well done Bomber for what its worth i think you did well in your first gp. Some people on here are so desperate for a british wold champion that nothing less than a win in your first gp season will do.If he rode for poole certain people would have said that he had a good start for a young british rider, if he was polish it would have been a great start for yet another young pole who placed higher than the begger in his first gp and for the rest of us he did ok in his first gp.Lets be honest Chris is going to give more entetainment for people around the world than some of these gate and go boring europeans that are in speedway now. If bomber , loram ,nicholls and stead and riders like them lined up for every race people would flock to speedway as no one would ever choose who would make the gate but you would be guaranteed a great race with all 4 riders going balls out to win untill the chequred flag. Still nevermind you cant please everyone

Well Im over the moon that Chris has got into the Gps next season and im sure he will work hard to do well. Down here in cornwall we have followed his career from youth grasstrack , the gulls, the tigers all the way to coventry and to be fair to the boy hes got there riding some fairly crap kit but unlike some riders who have always had fantastic kit ,his skill and talent has got him there and now as hes got better bikes hes really shown people what he can do.Some of you say hes not going to do well but I think he might surprise you. Any way listen to the cheers for him at Cardiff coz the cornish are coming me lovers with our rucksacks full with pasties and our St Pirans Cross flags. Only sad point is that Chris dad will never see his son ride in the gps but atleast chris will have made both their ambitions happen! Good on ya mate youve made us proud
