  1. Can’t believe I am reading it’s off! No rain so far and it seems extremely premature to me. Yes there’s rain coming up from the south west but it could pass to the west of Poole. I hope it doesn’t but think quite a few fans will turn up at the stadium tonight wondering what the hell is going on if it’s a dry evening. Rotten luck to Turnip coming all this way at great expense. I wonder if the Poole promotion can treat him when he is next down? Skidder is it possible to bring it up with Danny so he can get a tour of the pits and watch a heat or 2 from centre green? Just a thought.
  2. Luckily I avoid that way going. Will change route on way home. Cheers
  3. Phil, isn’t it about time you realised tracks can be sorted out? You know, because you read the Poole threads, that Terry (Trackerman on here) has sorted the track out as it’s like a billiard table now with lots of new shale on the track. No need to continue to make yourself look silly by still claiming there’s an issue with the track, because that’s clearly not the case. In fact Steve Worrall last week said it rode the best it ever has in his opinion. So perhaps you could stop being negative, go into the track shop, buy a Poole jacket, stand on the first bend, and shout out , “I am not worthy, I am not worthy!”, whist whipping yourself with a branch off the birch tree up the road. Then perhaps we will forgive your lunatic posts. All the best, Steve
  4. Unfortunately this years gp series has only one winner. The most one sided series in the history of the sport, which is a real shame. Just makes the series boring because no one will touch or challenge Zmarzlik this season. When Trick was dominant he had serious competition and challenges every gp. This is no longer the case. It’s one way traffic. He might lose the occassional final but no one in the field is going to get close over the series which makes it a bore. Shame.
  5. Woffinden really is a spent force. Won’t get in next season on this form. Looks lightweight sorry to say. Game over. Championship berth in 2023?
  6. I have contacted the club and sent the following message. Perhaps if enough did so we could sway them into providing a stream. Hi there, there are plenty of Poole and neutral fans who would love to watch this meeting on a live stream. I can understand under normal circumstances not offering a live feed but this is a top clash between the best two teams in the league, in a time when travelling the length of the county is prohibitive due to fuel costs. I would be happy to pay for a stream even if it is a single camera setup to save costs. Pretty sure it would be well subscribed to. Please consider it. Kind regards Steve Shovlar
  7. Starting this one early. There are many Poole fans and fans of other clubs who would very much like to watch this meeting. But the cost of fuel and distance prohibits nearly every fan from coming up to Glasgow. A 918 mile round trip from Poole, taking 10-12 hours each way with breaks for food and rest. How about Glasgow putting on a live stream for this meeting? Even if it’s a single camera. I and many would be happy to pay £12 for the privilege of following the action this way. Pretty sure a few hundred would fork out to watch this battle. What about it Glasgow promotion? As for the meeting, it should be a cracker. Both teams are destined for the playoffs. Glasgow with home advantage should win but Poole are no pushovers as the Tigers know from last season. Thoughts on the chances of a stream? Zero, or can it be suggested? And the meeting itself?
  8. Thought Drew Kemp was Pirates man of the meeting. Had two duffers but battled hard and his pass of Riss was top drawer.
  9. So far so good for Pirates but we led by 8 at heat ten last year and lost by 8. Expecting the fightback to start.
  10. Right out in the dirt already. Track looking good.
  11. Dave Goddard doing comms which is good. Got a great hd picture on my tv. Good crowd there.
  12. Excellent news that Redcar have changed their minds and are now streaming the meeting. I have signed up. But so late I the day. Missed opportunity to promote the stream. If I wasn’t on here I would have not seen the change of mind and missed it.
  13. Result as expected. Track very good but riders not wanting to go out wide when it looked ok to. Eventually they did and found it was good to blast around. Smooth, plenty of dirt and no dust at all. Lawson off colour. Not wanting to do anything in one heat and sat at the back. Not like him at all. Worrall superb. King good. Ben Cook good, Zac less so tonight. Kemp hit and cold. So hesitant in one heat, then blast around the opposition in his next. A confidence issue? Ablitt battled. For Newcastle Howarth was good value but Starke was woeful all night. Think he might have blown his best engine. Rest were hot and cold but Wright did ok. Complin battled all night and had the race of the night with Zac Cook. The meeting lacked tension due to the result never being in doubt. Tougher tests ahead.
  14. Too far for me to go. Been looking for the stream. Have they stopped streaming? Missing out on a good revenue and loads of Poole fans would have taken it along with the four points. Thoughts?
  15. Great news! Now has every chance. Still got drizzle in Parkstone but due to start drying up. Not sure we will have many there but as Dickie head has said above, there is a very good live stream.
  16. Rain due to clear in the next hour or so. Fingers crossed it does and track has held up. Clearly Poole want it on otherwise it would have been called by now.
