  1. It made no difference as they gated on a 5-1 in the rerun and it took Ben Cook 3 laps to pass Mountain. He might have done that in the first staging.
  2. Certainly a meeting of two halves. The after meeting press conference was interesting. Steve Worrall said his main bike had an issue and that’s why his second bike was wheeled out and used. Danny King was hurt after his third bend fall but was determined to continue but gave heat 15 a miss. Ben Cook was frustrated when he had an engine issue when on a 5-1, and Zach had frustrations when also on a 5-1 when Mountain fell on his own but was allowed back in. Mountain went and chopped up Zach, who should have put it down, as should have Ben when Nicholls smashed him out of the way in heat 10. The first half of the meeting had Leicester blasting from the gate and Pirates having little answer. 16-26 down and it looked all over but in the second half of the meeting Poole had an 18 point swing, after the track settled down. The lead to Leicester should really have been 16 points but with Bens bike Blowing and in heat 11 with Poole on a 5-1 and Mountain falling at the back, those were the way things went. I think Poole are still in with a shout on Saturday, though clearly Leicester will now fancy their chances. All to ride for. Poole have only been beat by a bigger score once this season at Plymouth, and by 8 points at Edinburgh. All other defeats have been closer. An important off track piece of information has come out about Kyle Howarth. He is getting married on Saturday. And in his contract with the club it all states that he doesn’t ride for a period before his wedding for fear of injury ruining his big day. Now, if he is not getting married on Saturday, this news is a load of rubbish. But if he is, then no facility should be granted. So a NL rider should replace Howarth. The BSPA MC should look into this as a matter of urgency.
  3. Ben Cooks bike blowing up, and then Ben being knocked out of the way by Scott and not laying it down. Then Zack not laying it down when Mountain hit him. Luck certainly not on our side tonight but you have to make your own luck.
  4. Howarth. He is getting married on Saturday. Didnt know a guest could be used for a wedding event. Its in his contract. No riding a week before wedding as risking injury! Guest is illegal.
  5. Just not our night. Well done to Lions. Our boys dont like the track and Leicester just charging.

  7. Just spoke to Terry the track man. Said track is a tad wet and bit soft on third bend but they are going for it.

  9. I wish Stewart Dickson all the very best. Hope it’s not too serious.
  10. Tipping down. Track will be flooded but will it prove too much for Poole promotion? Or will they salvage it in a matter of just a few hours? https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar
  11. We need a 12 point win to defend. Any less and it gets very hard. The Thompsons are no slouches on their own track. Should be a good close couple of meetings.
  12. Might be your Wi-Fi, tv, phone. I screen mirror to my smart tv with no issues whatsoever. I have an iPhone 13 pro Max. Sony smart tv. Wi-Fi. Crystal clear non buffering HD stream. Use mirroring for YouTube all the time no issues.
  13. Yes agree we never see riders going ahead in conditions where in the past a meeting would have gone ahead. But for the second time in a week, a meeting has been called off at Leicester with a completely dry day to sort it out.
  14. Perhaps the track is a mess. Perhaps Leicester do not want under any circumstances, Poole riders on their track before Saturday. Been dry again all day. Track must have been under a foot of water.
  15. Nicholls is a maestro of the Poole track. Rarely has a poor meeting and can pass our heat leaders. Will be interesting to see if Leicester go for their proper 1-7 or bring in Scotty for this leg.
  16. Wednesdays forecast looks better than it was with a few showers around lunchtime then a dry afternoon and evening. Saturday looks to be a dry day. I think both meetings will take place on their chosen days. Hopefully on tracks in conditions to produce good, fair racing.
  17. What weather forecast are you looking at? Giving dry in Poole from midweek onwards. If Wednesdays proves damp, forecast for Thursday and Friday is dry.
  18. It’s extremely easy to send to my smart tv from an iPhone with screen mirroring. In fact it couldn’t be easier.
  19. But not a realistic one. Clubs signed up to the playoffs. Without a final there will be no champions.
