  1. I have never scrolled down to see that. But at least it’s there so I can use it. Thanks
  2. Watch Eurosport and watch Glasgow v Oxford immediately afterwards, “live”. And hope Kelvin Tatum doesn’t give any score updates.
  3. Quite unbelievable that Ipswich are running tomorrow night against the football. They could lose 1000+ off the gate and have ridden on Wednesday. Many local sports fans must be well peed off. There’s little choice for the locals to make as they would have already purchased their football ticket in advance so won’t waste it. The biggest meeting for the speedway club in recent years and they get it completely wrong. Lets just hope the rain materialises later this afternoon or is the foul up of the decade.
  4. And they are up against Glasgow v Oxford in the championship playoffs on BSN. Wednesday would have been a far better choice for fans.
  5. Not sure Pickering will be good enough to leave the Championship and make premier league and abroad work. He had his backside whipped by Lawson, Worrall and Zach Cook on his own patch last night.
  6. Thanks Martin that has never been made clear and I bet most didn’t know the feature existed! Might be worth adding a text line explaining this feature is available.
  7. Another little improvement, if possible, is to have “chapters”, or bookmarks in replays so we can scroll directly to the following heat and watch a recorded meeting in less than 30 mins. Would save time and BSN bandwidth.
  8. Entertaining meeting and hope the Monarchs are back for next year. Wonder where Pickering is going to end up? A few miles to the west?
  9. Be interesting to know just how many subscribers BSN had this season. Matt said it as in its infancy and was doing well. How to increase the subscriber base is tricky. Where to advertise to get signups is limited. There are probably more speedway fans unaware of BSN than know about it, and in these harsh Tory economic times funds are tight for many families. On top of that is piracy which is a bane for many sports networks. Finding a way to eliminate accounts that are shared is not easy.
  10. Can’t agree more. Those that don’t have it are certainly missing out and for those that can’t afford a big lump sum, they do monthly direct debits. Only thing they could improve on, is to have more meetings!
  11. I don’t think Oxford have a chance, but will be pleased to be proved wrong as it means an extra meeting to attend. They are 6 points short imo.
  12. There are world class riders who are not in the GPs, as there are a few riders in the GPs who imo are really not world class riders. Tarasenko is a heat leader in the Polish Extraleague. Not writing us off in the final. We are Poole and Pirates know how to win against adversity. I shall be there cheering the boys on regardless of win or lose, with the same team we started the season with, bar Roynons injury. Same as last season. Get the team right from the start and no need to replace. I am sure the team will give it everything they have got, but just as Lambert coming in at the death for Belle Vue made a mockery of last years PL playoffs and final, so could Tarasenko in the Championship this season. I am not blaming Glasgow as they didn’t write the rule, but whoever thought Tarasenko could have a 5 average in both the PL and Championship should be struck off from the sport for total incompetence.
  13. Watched the stream late last night and as expected a completely one sided affair only kept slightly closer due to Poole riders having bike issues when in scoring positions and the efforts of Pickering and Castagna. The other 4 Monarchs may as well have stayed in bed. So now we wait for Glasgow and Oxford to finish their meeting next Tuesday, to meet Glasgow in the final again. Getting in the Tarasenko has completely changed the Tigers from making up the numbers in the playoffs to outright favourites. But Pirates will give it 100% and hopefully the good guys will win. Feel sorry for Oxford who should really be in the final but for dodgy 5 point averages given to world class riders. Bring it on!
  14. You could always run one tonight. The rollover from last week will go to the next home meeting.
  15. Neil, I won’t be there tonight so no sweepstakes this week. Will have to roll over to next meeting.
  16. Shame Ipswich won that. Crap track compared to BV for the neutral. Some decent racing tonight and heat 15 was good fun.
  17. Glasgows to lose. Should deal with this with relative ease. Tarasenko the big difference. 54-36ish.
  18. So it’s all down to Glasgow v Oxford on Tuesday. A ten point lead is not enough imo and Glasgow with their powerhouse top 5 will prove too strong against a battling Oxford team. I am hoping for Oxford in the final as it’s a track up the road and we can have a big Pirate contingent, but a ten lead is small.
  19. Pretty awful meeting. Redcar so weak it was a going through the motions meeting to get it done. Guessing Poole on Wednesday against Edinburgh might be similar.
  20. Thats terrible news. Ray C was quite a prolific poster on here. Condolences to his family and friends.
  21. Surely they can refuse. Bailey is British. British fixtures come first. Just say no to them.
  22. Allowing Bailey to go to Poland waives a big white flag for Redcar.
  23. Toft was disqualified for second tapes infringement. On the track walk Lambert said the track looked fantastic and that Godfrey had spent some money on new shale. Not sure why Kemp didn’t get heat 8 but he was poor tonight and a shadow of the rider he was at Poole last Wednesday.
