There were sponsors on the centre green last week but in a fenced off area in the middle. Chalk lines were running about 5 metres inside the track and no one was allowed closer to the track than that, except the starting track staff. Anyone know if Wright is riding tonight? If not guest or r/r?

Best wishes on a speedy recovery to Ben Barker. Nasty tumble that possibly cost Plymouth the win on the night. Nice to see a bigger crowd tonight than the debacle last week.

Are we getting to the stage that Justin Elkins will get the nod over Anders Rowe?

Redcar can cause a threat with riders who love the Wimborne Road circuit. Danny King is a track specialist and knows all the racing lines. Charles Wright is very entertaining and always battles hard. Riss less so. Danny Hume is quick around Poole and got a 5-1 in heat one in the first encounter. I think we will have too much in the tank but Redcar could run us closer than Oxford last week.

This meeting is now available on BSN. Obviously not the crash which caused injury to the photographer. The heat two takeout of Roynon is there though.

Pirates have got to finish top. That was a real battlers performance when we were left for dead out of the starting gate. What a brilliant effort and when you consider we were missing Anders Rowe who has been in great form and is a Scunthorpe track specialist, the victory is even sweeter. Special mention for Sam Hagon who looks like a very tidy rider and one for the future.

Great meeting. Pirates outgated in virtually every heat but our team of racers battled from the back to secure a fantastic Win. We are going to finish top of the league baring a disaster!

At last we gate and bang a big 5-1. Didn’t have us down to winning this but need to show we can keep it relatively close. Sam Hagon last two second. Great little rider.

Clearly a track with massive home advantage. Doesn’t help when we haven’t gated once so far to actually lead a heat out of the second bend. Missing Anders Rowe at reserve big time.

Watching the stream, which is very good value. Pirates being mullered out of the gate in every heat so far. Riders like Simon Lambert looking like Rickardson. Poole passing riders to score. Scunthorpe completely dialled in and Poole riders chasing setups. A small crowd at the stadium.

Heat 8 Rowe passed Heeps up the inside of bend four.

Disaster for us losing Anders for this one. Knows the track inside out and is on great form. Impossible to cover.

The crowds are very big for the playoffs as well, when there are no holiday makers.

Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch all merge into one conurbation. AFC Bournemouth dominate as they are in the Premier League. Pirates do well considering. Success brings in the fans. Nearly 3000 last night. Should be another big crowd next Wednesday against Redcar, and will be packed on the following Sunday at home to Glasgow.

If this is true then they should be banned from the stadium for life. I would call over security and point them out.
