Well done Danes, fantastic team spirit and they all sang the National Anthem. I had been torn who to support before the meeting but I put the Polish/Witches connections above Hans and Nicki in the end, but certainly wasn't disappointed in the end result. Tomek and Jarek along with Jagus almost pulled it off for the Poles but needed a bit more support. Freddie Lindgren was excellent for the Swedes, backed up by Jonas Davidsson. AJ not his usual self, and was the first to admit it. The Aussies, oh dear... was a little disappointed that Holder didn't attempt to clear the track when he fell. Well done again DENMARK.

I thought Olly was the only Brit who could even consider holding his head up high after Mondays shambles. As for Stead he was no worse than Nicholls.

I thought it was the Russkies getting assistance from the Poles, Tomek just loves team riding with them. Gutted that Jarek didn't win the run-off but at least we get to see the Poles again on Thursday. Far better entertainment than the Aussies.

Only one point for Tobi oh well he did beat Rory! Sorry to read that Davey missed out tho, but good on him for putting his club first, not that travelling early did Rory or Simon any favours!

Iffoid, I saw you in your seat as we walked up past you and I knew the face, but couldn't put a name to it. Later I saw Seb stop and speak to you, and I instantly remembered you! Didn't have a chance to come back and speak as we changed seats soon afterward and went to a different part of the stadium. Was lovely to meet up with all the peeps I already know again and to meet a few new ones. Hopefully I haven't forgotten anyone. Special mentions for Seb the Snail and Bobbin Along, these Swindon fans are so nice , also Merlin, Paulco, Tsunami, Rob Peasley and Dorset Delight. Oh, and all my seats were pretty good!

Now that would have definitely brought a tear to my eye. I used to love the music at Cardiff in the very early years, but not so much recently. I thought last nights presentation was excellent, and really added to the occassion. Nice one Bart.

Been a Nicki fan for ages now and nothing changed my mind last night Haven't got a problem at all with Leigh, in fact I'm still convinced he won heat 5. Nah thought it was easier to say Bjarne, rather than use his surname, would have confused a few!!!

Indeed, and still he finished 3rd. What a legend. Any controversy last night was down to the ref. In my opinion the Adams exclusion was spot on (sorry again Seb ), the Bjarne decision was very harsh, a definite all 4 back and major credit to Nicki for clearing the track in the final Trees, for somebody who doesn't like the GPs you certainly have plenty to say!

Nice posts, Shazz and Bobbin'. For the first time, we're leaving the boys at home this year and having a Mum and daughter weekend away. So it'll be our first boozy Cardiff with friends rather than a family weekend away.
