So, when Ritchie had to be helped off his bike on Saturday night after twisting his knee, it was all a ploy to avoid riding at Edinburgh? Don't flatter yourself! -

Don't think Badge would forget Cook! Or Worrall. We'll miss Ben whoever it will be . -

I've been wondering about this too. I think, but hope I'm wrong, that as its a rearranged fixture that Ben will ride for the Brummies. -
I'd put Morten with Ben, Cam with Rohan and leave Leigh at 5.

Why are you involving Midnight Lady? Firstly she doesn't post on this forum, secondly she and Crazysue came to an arrangement re the updates many, many years ago, with which they were mutually happy with the outcome and thirdly it is a personal attack. I had an axe to grind with certain Edinburgh fans, so I took it to their own facebook page, I wasn't happy with their remarks, so I no long read their page, I didn't bring it onto a forum read by speedway fans of all teams. ML has not been very vocal in the whole Barker/Cook incident in comparison with some and certainly not been venomous and if she chooses to spend time and effort on her own updates and website, so what? Good luck to her, I can't see where the problem lies, and she certainly doesn't deserve to be singled out for ridicule. Young 51 is obviously Edinburghs own little troll, we all have them, so why encourage him? For what its worth I agree with the rest of your post! -

That's interesting to read actually and proves how people see things differently. Initially last night I was mostly gutted for being robbed of seeing a great meeting. At that time I was pretty much in the dark about what had gone on other than what was announced over the tannoy. However, after a steady stream of texts from people asking what was happening, I decided to have a read on some forums and facebook pages and was appalled by just how many people were blaming Ben, just because he has a reputation and so it had to be his fault, without knowing anything that had gone on. So my main gripe is the same as yours but t'other way round. Ben is a well known hot head and disliked by many, maybe your main worry should be that Craig is heading in the same direction. His recent rants haven't done him any favours. I've certainly lost respect for him, just a month or so ago after being delighted that he was chosen for GB! -

I'm sure not one person honestly believes that the incident had anything whatsoever to do with heat 1 of yesterdays meeting. -

I'm talking rubbish and you're Nutz so we're level pegging so far! For what it's worth I'm disappointed that Ben is talking to the Sun. Yes Cooks apology was very professional, have you any idea who wrote it for him? And how do you know for a fact that this wouldn't have happened if Ben had have kept his mouth shut? Proof required here please. I don't buy a programme so haven't a clue what you mean in your last statement. Sorry, you had to waste so much petrol money last night on that farce. You travelling Edinburgh fans were the biggest losers. -

Of course there are people out there who think its entirely Ben's fault. His reputation goes before him, and he would have been blamed by some if he wasn't even involved. This is nothing to do with his past but just what happened last night and Barker accepted his part in it and his fine, Cook didn't and therefore the fans were cheated of what would probably have been a meeting talked about for years to come for the action on track. Still when Edinburgh greet their hero in a few hours, give a thought to those of us who lost out last night. -

I would guess there were 5 people. Two riders, 2 managers and the ref. And about 300 flies on the wall who all seem to know that the blame lie entirely with Ben! -

Quite easily. Aaron was sitting up, trying to reason with him, James leaned over shouting and then butted him. -

Thoroughly enjoyed this meeting! Was all set to leave the stadium after the Ipswich meeting, cold, dusty and bored, but decided to watch the first few heats. So glad we did, these boys really give it their all. Very impressed with Stef Nielsen, shame we didn't book him as our guest for the NL meeting! Great touch by Lewis to slow down in heat 15 and allow him his full maximum. Also nice, but typical of him, to see Kev Doolan lending a hand with young Nathan Stoneman. The only sour point was the un-necessary incident by Sarjeant. Especially as Baseby was still on the ground. We had moved round to the 4th bend by this heat and we could hear Sarjeant yelling at Baseby and then the crack as he head butted him. Nasty! -

Taylor Poole, Mat Tresarrieu, Morten Risager and Dakota North can be added to Ipswich to complete their 2012 team. -

So £295 for 23 meetings works out £12.82 per meeting, a saving of £2.68. Sounds good to me. Great to see Sackers back on board for another year, hopefully now we'll be able to have racesuits again next season. -

Can't see any PL team being in a position to offer "silly money" to be honest..... -

The moanin minnies are out in force again I see. I got home at 2.30 this morning, partially due to a junction on the M1 being closed and a traffic jam building up on the diversion but I'm not complaining. Thought the track was fine, and particularly enjoyed watching the Poles out in the dirt. Not a fan of Zorro's and wouldn't choose to have him in the GP's, but we got caught up in all the drama and on the night he deserved all he got. A few nasty looking crashes, how Bjerre got up and walked away amazed me. A good night. Well done Zorro, Chris and JAREK HAMPEL JAREK!!! -

True, but if they take id proving they are still the age of compulsory schooling wouldn't that suffice? -
