  1. Ok, slagging off might be a bit harsh but I detect a little dig in both posts and also in the other one currently on this thread as well. Of course we're all entitled to our own opinions thats what a forum is all about but I came on here to congratulate Leigh on his win, not to read about Hans. Still don't think Hans was sulking though, just very disappointed in himself, but thats just my opinion.
  2. Actually no. He showed how dedicated he is to winning and was more than disappointed in himself for losing his first place. Nowt wrong in ambition. I thought this thread was about Adams winning but no, two posts and both Hans slagging! Well done Leigh!
  3. Nasty looking crash but definitely a racing incident with no malice from Nicki in my opinion. We thought Bjarne was very lucky to come away, hopefully, unscathed. Imagine Crump and Bjarne both being injured!! As said before Jagus had to be withdrawn with concussion whereas it was Nickis own decision to ride through the pain barrier. Lets hope all 3 riders plus Crump don't have serious injuries and aren't too bruised and battered in the morning.
  4. Not sure about that! We'll probably be sitting with a bunch of Coventry fans. Not sure if I'm up to the excitement of 3 of their riders in it! Stead, Stead, Stead!!!
  5. Not really confusing, its just a case of realising how it works in advance and not making a fuss if the old way would have benefitted our particular favourites. We're used to quirky rules in speedway so nothing new there. Basically your standard 3 points for a win etc throughout the meeting, double points in the final, with these points carried forward to the overall totals. The podium places determined on the final race of the night. Confusing? Nah!
  6. I reckon Ippo or Belle Vue have more chance of signing him up for the rest of the season now, than they did this time yesterday! Do we want him though!!
  7. Very, very well done Chris. Thats the most patriotic I've felt in ages.
  8. For gods sake , get over it! Thems the rules! GO HANS!!!!! Well done Nicki and Bomber. The best podium I've seen in years!!
  9. Live updates here There has been thunderstorms in Wroclaw today, followed by dry periods. Raining as of an hour ago.
  10. I know what you mean Shazz. Theres not one man in the GB team this year that I'm a particular fan of. I am a fan of most of the Danes and Poles though. I'm sure I'll be patriotic at the time but......
  11. Tough call? Not at all unless he's being biased. Got to be Steady.
  12. N.Pedersen, Andersen, Hampel, Crump. But hope its Gollob instead of Crump.
  13. The Showgirl Tour re-commences in 2008! Starring LW, SuzieQ and Sandie.
  14. I just hope the scoreboard is working correctly in Wroclaw Sandie. Or you'll have to find somebody to stand next to you telling you its Jarek Hampel Jarek in the white helmet! Happy memories.
  15. One of them should have been mine. You'll all have to have a very large drink for me, and a big cheer for Hans.
  16. I'm a bit of a neutral where Bomber is concerned. Not a big fan, but nothing against him either. In my opinion he rode better than expected on Saturday. Before the meeting I certainly wouldn't have expected him to come close to making the semis, so I thought he had a very impressive debut.
  17. An enjoyable GP. Very well done Nicki, in a class of his own. Was disappointed that Hans didn't reach the final, although at one stage I thought he'd miss out on the semi's. Bomber impressive, certainly not out of his depth. Scotts crashed looked really nasty he was so lucky to just escape with a broken thumb, hopes he's fit for Wroclaw. Loved Nicki's haircut, I understand its the height of fashion for both sexes!!!
  18. No way! I'd rather watch alone. I have a bottle of Blossom Hill Zinfadel to go with the above, so I won't be lonely.
