  1. Yes Badge. As our fixture was arranged first.
  2. Not if the Ipswich fixture is already on the calendar.
  3. Both. I'm sure all fans would prefer to see Cook and Masters race against King and Covatti. The public are being cheated.
  4. Sorry, completely missed the part of your original post where you already stated Kurtz and Wethers.
  5. Would you not go with Kurtz? Although I'm guessing that with him riding for a Friday track himself he doesn't get to ride at Armadale that often. Wells might be a good option following last Fridays meeting there. I went for Wethers being an ex Monarch.
  6. Brady for Danny and Matty Wethers for Stef? Shame we'll have to go R/R for Nico though. Gino has said on Facebook that he'll be fit to ride.
  7. No Danny King, no Nico Covatti, no Stefan Nielsen and possibly no Gino Manzares! Don't think we'll be fancying our chances at all!
  8. No Stef then? Rohan should be back for this. What a farce!
  9. So, Hawkins is my favourite and I'm biased? Guilty as charged. I've been a fan for years and nothing has changed. No I didn't hear the interview (any links to it?) but from what I've been told Phil was given the chance to respond to what Ritchie said, but not the other way round. Finally, believe it or not I've not a problem with Phil. I don't know the bloke. He's made a few dodgy decisions but that doesn't make me dislike him.
  10. I'm loving the way people are slagging off Ritchie. If Phil had did the first interview and Ritchie had been able to comment on that, then maybe views would be different!?
  11. Why did he refuse to race? Was he not given the opportunity on the radio to explain this? Something doesn't seem right here, this isn't the Ritchie who was awarded the most improved rider at last years awards.
  12. Thank you. So Ritchie said nothing we didn't already know and Phil trying to make Ritchie the bad guy! Hmm.
  13. You can't just leave it there! What was said?
  14. Maybe a team manager who has a rider who has admitted that he is lacking in confidence needs to help boost that confidence. I'm not saying he shouldn't be replaced in his heats, obviously that has to be done if Stef is having the better meeting of the two. But surely it's a two way thing? Can a local please report on here what's said on the radio.
  15. I'm so disappointed about this. Ritch has never let the team down. He had a big fall at the start of the season that knocked his confidence and apparently doesn't get along with the new team manager. Given a bit more time I'm certain he'd be performing as he did last season. His input in the pits will be missed too. Good luck Cap'n Hawkins. You will be missed. Welcome to Ashley Morris, you've big boots to fill but as always anyone who rides in the Witch will be made welcome. My appetite for speedway has taken another knock today. Thank heavens for Nico.
  16. Well done Berwick, well deserved from what I've been told and nothing less than I expected. What the hell is up with Ipswich, title favourites indeed! And where was Ritchie Hawkins in heat 14?
  17. Agree with SuperBlue. I've not been to a meeting since Sheffield and thats still sorely imprinted on my mind! Won't be there again this week to see the return of the Barker and Dooley. Hope Berwick are bringing their large, noisy contingent of fans.
  18. We was thinking about you Paul, what a waste of time and money. Hope to see you later in the season.
  19. Couldn't agree more. I'd love to see someone like Jason Garrity at Ipswich. Gino and Ritchie, as well as nico do have the right attitude, but struggle at times. The track was the same for both teams yesterday and Sheffield and Nico quietly got on with it. Still, it's early in the season and anything can happen, but nobody is irreplaceable, let's hope the current team can pull their fingers out before long.
  20. I feel the same, disappointed we couldn't hold on especially as Rye have won at Plymouth.
  21. Us Ipswich fans were happy with Lukes performance guesting for us on Friday, maybe he needs a change of scenery, a new challenge away from Rye. Good luck whatever you do Luke.
