  1. Fingers crossed the rain stays away, both met office and yahoo weather are saying it should be dry, but we all know how accurate forecasts can be. Looking forward to tonight's meeting, my in laws are coming down from Essex to their first meeting at Kent Kings, so hopefully it will be a good meeting and they'll be converted from lakeside fans
  2. Not saying Boxall is in the same league, far from it, just saying he's doing we'll and is showing great speed. Lakeside have been in the Elite League since 2004 and im sure at some stage during those 9 long years there would have been comparable conditions, atmosphere, climate, temperature, engine set up etc etc etc etc
  3. Shows just how good Steve Boxall is when you consider that the Arena Essex track is 3 meters shorter than Kents track at Central Park, and Steve's track record of 57.9 seconds is only 1.1 seconds slower than the track record set at Arena Essex by GP rider Andreas Jonsson!
  4. They are definatly improving every meeting. They deserve to pick up their first win for all their hard work . Just hope the rain stays away!
  5. The weather is looking good for Monday, really looking forward to the meeting. Will be interesting to see how new rider Benji Compton does. Hopefully people can put the David Mason situation in the past where it belongs and look to the future. I do worry about our 3.00 avg riders, when they line together up its not a matter of wondering how many points they are going to get but more wondering if they are going to make it round the track 4 times. Plus when they race together chances are we are going to give away a 5-1 that will need to be clawed back. But they are young riders on a new track and their performances can only get better. Fingers crossed
  6. Had a fantastic day watching the Kent Kings with the family today. Was very impressed with Ben Morley and Steve Boxall, they will both score highly this season. Looking forward to getting back down Central Park Stadium next week for the IOW fixture. Monday is my new favourite day of the week
