Birmingham V Poole Ela 23/4/14
Sherborne Green replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Newman not riding. Being replaced by Ellis. Must be something wrong with that. -
I thought that Chris scored 11 points out of 12 yesterday morning and 8 points out of 12 yesterday evening. That gives him an average of 9.5 over the two meetings. He did not score so many in his only other Poole match it is true but all riders have an off match. And by the way that was a Monday match and he only scored 7 from 5 rides in Poland the day before. Therefore, Gavan, I can not see the real point you are making. If Chris performs bad over the full 28 days you may have a point but we will have to wait and see.

Somerset V Plymouth 18th April

I think that Plymouth should think long and hard about Simota and Benko if they are to progress. -

Could we please have a separate thread for people who want to slag each other off and keep the threads clear for genuine discussions and thought out differences. Thanks -
Poole V Coventry 14/4/14 Ela Sky Meeting.

Hope Kyle is OK after the spill this evening. Just goes to show how you can be on a high and a low is not that far away. -

OK you have one but I did say most. And another for you if you like Doyle. Just to show I am being fare. E

I said loyal not riding for them. Which one of those have have ever said they would not ride for Poole. All are assets bar Andersen. Some do not wish to ride in Uk but all were very happy to ride for Poole. Andersen and Kasprzak were happy to help Poole out in their hour of need over the years. Pederson still very friendly with Poole. Madsen does not wish to ride in this country. Mroczka has the wrong average. Try again.
-
It's called loyalty . A club that has helped him deserves his help.. Love Poole or hate them the vast majority of riders who ride for them stay loyal.

I agree that Smolinski hit a rut and this happens in speedway However, when this has happened in the past I always seem to remember the rider who had wiped out another then went over to check on the rider who was hit and say "sorry mate" . I did not see that this time.

People have got their views but I think it is clear now where a few people stand and what their thoughts are. I do not know what is right and what is wrong but I think everything is now clear. Nowhere have I seen anything from the Poole management or anyone else what is in their mind. I think we will be all interested to see. In the meantime I wish Darcy a speedy recovery for his own sake.

Gavan. No arguing, just want to clarify what you are meaning. Is it:- A) Poole should go into the season with no No 1 Poole should go with Ward as No 1 and as he is injured a guest or R/R C) Poole should go with Holder at No 1 and if he refuses to ride then he is withholding his services. To be honest I never saw that Holder had signed a contract for this season but perhaps I am wrong. As I said I just want to know what you are suggesting.
-
And some Poole fans want the rules to be broken, again! Always Poole isnt it? What the hell are you talking about? Just tell us the truth. You want a team to start the season without their No 1. I could not care what team it is. Out of interest to you I watch far more PL than EL. Why do you think you know more about speedway rules than the real SCB
-
They want Poole to have a NL rider for Poole No 1. Some people are rubbing their hands.

Rye House V Plymouth League Cup 5 April
Sherborne Green replied to Vincent Vega's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Reading all your posts re the two matches you do seem to have an thing about WCs -
Usual anti Poole rubbish from BWitcher. No announcements made about anything. Top rider injured through no fault of his own but who cares? Let's just have a go at Poole. Not one wheel turned in the league but perhaps Poole should use a NL rider at No 1. Let's have a bit of common sense please for ALL teams.
-
why don't you concentrate on Ipswich? You always say you are not anti Poole. However, your posts just show that you are obsessed with them . We all are entitled to our own opinions but surely if you support another team in another league you would be much more interested in them!

Peterborough Panthers 2014

The season has not really started yet, however, the usual crew who are not Poole supporters are taking their usual stance. If this forum is going to have any credence then a more balanced posts need to be offered. All teams start the season on a par. Each club can build their team within the rules. How the hell can people start moaning already?

Who's Got The Best Reserve?
Sherborne Green replied to pete cc's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Sorry but Steve does not live in this part of the county now!! -
Is this thread not Poole 2014. I thought the 2013 season had finished and the 2014 season is about to start. The record books will not change. Teams have different riders Loki forward to the new season . Other past seasons are history!
-
May I just point out there are a number of people that go to both Somerset and Poole. Living in Sherborne, near Yeovil, we are equal distant between the two tracks. Teams are in different leagues so why not support both teams?
-
Not too sure what Scribbler will make of this with Matt Fords involvement.
-
i know what you are saying and I am saying I would disagree. However, the rules were set down by the people that control the sport and like it or not that's what we have to live by.
