why. They could use all three and still have 9.05 points for the other two riders! -

Do you really think that all clubs should have the same budget? This does not apply in any other sport so why speedway? Clubs income comes from mainly crowd income and local sponsership. How therefore can all clubs have the same income? Going back to my previous post. Business, income, budgets that is how clubs survive in all sports. -

I just do not understand what some people expect. Any owner of any team will set up their team with the best riders/players they can within their budget. They look at it like any business. What have I got to pay out to get the best return. What will attract the most people to want to pay to see my product. This happens in all walks of life and sports. Some companies are more successful than others. Does this mean that an owner of a company says my competitors are not producing quite so good a product than mine so I better make mine not so good. I see that another point put forward is that other places have more competition from other sports. They have a far bigger population to get their crowds from as well. Dorset, Hampshire and the South West in general have far fewer people than most of the country. Manchester have arguably two of the best attended football clubs plus a lot more but look at the numbers that live there. Although I am not a supporter of these teams I think that both Southampton ( at present 2nd in the premier league) and AFC Bournemouth ( 2nd in the championship at the moment) attract very good crowds. Let's not build to the lowest denominator but strive to build to the top. -
We all want him back in Plymouth next year and he wants to return. You may be confused as I post on Poole forums. However Sherborne is where I live and Green is for Plymouth Argyle (the Green Army') I started at Pennycross in 1962 and often go to SBA when back in my original city. I know a number of the fans and some of the officials so I know that Kyle is one guy they are all happy with.

Yes we are very happy Thank you.

That is quite right at an average of 3.52 which is 60% of his PL finishing average.

Darcy is a brilliant rider but he has been caught doing wrong. I am not in a position to say what the punishment should be and like everyone must wait for the FIM to decide. I do not think that any club owner from Poland,Swenden or GB would have influence on the FIM. I do not think Matt Ford is the most influencial of the owners. Poland I feel are far stronger. However, Speedway is a very small part of the FIM and the influence of this sport is very low down the pecking order. I feel they have taken too long to hear the case but perhaps that's because of other pressures of motor sport. One thing I do think is every rider should be tested before every meeting not just names drawn out of a hat.

Posf2 Poole V Kings Lynn

I could not agree more. Personally, I get pleasure out of this forum with the snip its of information that come out, the rumours are quite interesting and people's views on meetings they have attended. Why oh why is there any need for insults. Sometimes you would think it was the House of Commons😉 Please respect others point of view, disagree by all means but no insults. -
[quote name="stevebrum" post="2534871" timestamp="1413907022" Indications from the Tai night is he will be back. I hope he is for Wolves sake. The same as I would not like Chris Holder riding for another club.

Just heard. Poole have been given special dispensation (as they are Champions) to field the following team for next year. No 1 Chris Holder No 2 KK No 3 Darcy Ward (Poole have arranged for any ban to be lifted) No 4 Leon Madson No 5 Magic No 6 THJ No 7 Milik Standby riders Watt, Josh, and as a junior Newman Am I being serious or is just a wet, windy afternoon and I have too much time on my hands☺️☺️☺️

Poole Speedway 2014 Elite League Champions !
Sherborne Green replied to markyb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
ask Matt Ford. I know that Plymouth want him as their captain next year. -
To be honest the meetings he guested for Poole he rode really well.Well done Poole. An excellent meeting with two teams giving their all. Coventry only really lost it towards the end of the meeting. Magic was magic and I was so pleased to see Kyle come on so much as a rider. What the sport has got in store next season, what leagues there will be and how strong those leagues will be we must wait and see. Thanks to all riders for entertains us this season doing things that we do in our dreams but could never actually do if we were on the track. On a personal basis I now want to wish the Somerset Rebels all the best for the PL final and hope that title returns to the Oak Tree Arena.

I certainly agree that Jason would not really want a Saturday night track with GPs and Poland. Also, swindon would be silly if they did not want him back. Just a thought but if he is riding next year, will Darcy be at Poole?
-
we will never know. Who called it off? I don't think it was either team but looking how it came down could it have carried on? I am no rider so I don't know. Just my view but when you look at the riders in the next two heats I do not think Coventry would have gained an advantage. Heat 15? Total unknown. Let's hope for a dry meeting on Monday.

Looking at all these posts re guests is enough to give anyone a headache. Injuries, etc this seasons have been the worst I can remember. Please rule makers over the winter take a look at this whole situation and come up with a sensible solution that everyone can live with. Also, please possibly less fixtures to get things settled before October which is normally cold and wet. Best luck to all riders tonight and come around safe. I admit I would like Poole to win but then everyone has their team, even though Bomber and Ben come from my part of the country. Yes and I also would like a Somerset victory next week, good luck to them.

do you mean if Poole call it off ,the ref or the speedway authorities. I agree if it is just Poole you have a case but if KL or any of the others I think you have not.
