Adam Roynon Dropped By Sheffield
Byker Biker replied to StevePark's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If what I overheard at Brough at the weekend has any substance this is the biggest can of worms ever, I only listened to some of the conversation mind but this could be serious. -

It's clear the Richard Heads that are now running Sheffield announced their team changes before they were approved. does anybody know why the proposed team change haven't gone ahead? -

Clearly Proctor ain't coming and Roynon has been reinstated except he's told them to stuff it!!!! Don't be surprised if Roynon doesn't get a 28 day ban for being dropped -

It will be even more ridiculous if they are allowed a facility and Proctor doesn't ride for them -

Well if Proctor hasn't ridden for Sheffield they can't use R/R tomorrow at Berwick, it will have to be a 3 pointe unless they revert to their previous team and Roynon represents them. What a foxtrot uniform. -
So the new promotion aren't in place yet, they have already explained that these things take time and a legal process has to be followed. We have the most positive news coming out of Owlerton for some time, everone except you is enthusiastic and you have to make the point on here? WTF are you on?

I'm hearing massive newsfor Sheffield on Wednesday or Thursday, wow my lips are welded, glued and sealed.

How was Saturday night, did it go well?
-
Yes but it's like complaining that you haven't won the lottery when hou didn't buy a ticket in the first place! Migrants need to be fully conversant with their visa conditions but in Speedway they assume it's somebody else's problem and when their visas EXPIRE they assume the 1 year mandatory cooling off period doesn't apply! Guess what?

Pot kettle black! You've spoiled more announcements than any other poster, the sooner Rory bangs your cork in with a Mallet the better.

In fairness to Sheffield racing on a Thursday does exclude most Scandinavian riders, look at the issues with Ludvig, lasse Bjerre, Mikkel Bech, Magnus Karlsson who have all had to miss meetings in the uk. Maassen is on a 5 by the way, this is the lowest average he can come in on even though he is a junior rider in Germany. -
Craig Cook Declines Test Meetings Gb V Aus
Byker Biker replied to Fiesta's topic in International World of Speedway
I went to the one at Sheffield it was a great meeting, it said in the programme that the objective was to give riders international experience and to begin to lay the foundations to put test matches back on the Speedway calendar. It also says that it was kept at Premier League level to keep it cost effective. I saw Craig's tweets last week and was a bit disappointed to see he wasn't prepared to do them, how will we ever develop internationally if riders like Craig won't play to help the Newmans, Howarths and Kerr's what chance have we got. At least the Promoters have put something in place and it looks like Craig is snubbing them. -
Maybe they did but Glasgow chose to ignore the protocols usually observed.

Interesting, where did that come from?
