When Craig Boyce landed that punch on Gollob, sky covered every minute of it,even with craig talking to the ref. When Martin Dugard flawed Stefan Andersen, sky were right there, including beforehand ,when Bob Dugard was having a go at various people. The late great Tony Millard loved every moment of it,putting his own spin on events.I just hope sky havnt told Pearson and co that they cant talk about various flashpoints that come up during a meeting. That would really kill speedway. ps....PS Anyone know how i can get in touch with Kelvin Mullarkey to ask his view on Speedway today?!!!!!

You summed up brilliantly what happened in that race UNTIL the final bit!!! You are correct Lingren did use Zagar to make Cook stranded in the middle of the Sandwich,it was a class move to shut the door on what he had to do.Cook was stranded in no mans land and Lingren made the move work.Super and vital at the time.

Great meeting, had everything,Just out of interest did anyone else think the league trophy had already been given to Wolves before the second leg as it clearly had Yellow and black ribbons on from the start?!! Wonder if Tai is setting a new trend for 2017.Teams just turn up with 3 bikes and engines and use the leftover new tyres to race on new edges come the end of the meeting!! Star of the evening for me was Freddie Lingren-Tonight was hard but fair racing, and the race with craig cook was just class racing when cook left the door open, what to people want in speedway, just shut off and say"after you sir" or use track craft and pass a rider when he has a chance to do so.Thats what makes speedway races like that.

Lakeside Vs Belle Vue, 21/9/16...
speedwaysliders replied to Ace no.5's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
A couple of things from last night; 1 It may seem minor but the confusion in betting circles that Zagar finished 3rd in heat 1 ,but was confirmed on screen that worell was 3rd,and also carried on speedway updates.Surely in this day and age the betting companies need to have a 100% official correct result from heats .There is so much you can bet on in speedway,in running with riders scores etc,you just cant afford to put the wrong result up on screen to be backed up but what is normally a very good updates service.IT was clearly wrong, and a lot of confusion set in. 2 How lewis Bidgers helmets passed the referee check is just stupid.Again its just confusing to the new fan that his helmets had yellow peak followed by the colour of helmet.People will say this is just a minor issue but again its causing confusion when there doesnt need to be any confusion. Anyway rant over -
Coventry Vs Kings Lynn 16/09/2016
speedwaysliders replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I understand your comment, but it must be hard for the Coventry team when they see the line up for heat 1,NKI must of thought xmas had come early with the line up that faced him.Surely the powers that be must put down rules next season where you have to replace a number 1 with an adequate replacement or the match is off.It has to be as serveere as that because there has to be a limit as to the sort of team you can put out.Its not on for the fans, and it does nothing for speedway in general when there is no reasonable replacement for your Number 1.It mabe not coventrys fault but something has to be done. -
Poole Sign Lindback
speedwaysliders replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
EVERY year matt Ford gets stick,BUT EVERY year he comes up trumps for putting the work in to explore all avenues, and get the best possible results for Poole. It would be nice from a neutrals point of view to see other clubs doing the same,it cant be a fluke that they do it EVERY year. -
Craig Cook is clearly in the Auty camp when asked about Tungate chasing him !! "When you are a 4.5 midget weighing next to nothing what do you expect!! Anyone know why Bridger made the long trip to Belle vue? As for pearson and Tatum,if they could actually tone it done just a bit,so the smoke didnt come out of my tv speakers it would help!!! I actually went into my garden after the match to try and recreate the decibels of Pearsons voice,i just couldnt do it!!.Seriously people on this forum go and try shouting exact words from a pearson sentance,it just impossible without embarassing yourself with the neighbours ,or just getting a sore throat!!.how does he do it and carry on the next day?!!

Thing that gets me is that in the uk chris can beat anyone at any track, but on his travels he just doesnt seem to mix it with the top guys,so maybe it might be down to travel arrangements, but most importantly mind set.Does he approach a GP in the right frame of mind? Ive seen Chris punch the air with delight thats hes actually won a GP heat!!! In my mind its nothing to do with anything else other then being prepared correctly and beleif and focus about dropping the clutch at the right time.On a side note does anyone know if Chris uses he uk bikes for GPs or are they the ones he uses in Europe? -

Any Belle vue regular fans out there please help me out here, when the track first opened maybe riders were new to the track but they did seem to pass round the outside of turns 3&4,but as the season has progressed it seem the only line to pass is right on the inside kerb and its seems to be getting worse.Does anyone who regularly goes to meetings there think its anything to do with the soft patch problem they had which held up meetings at the start? It just seems to me its sinking a bit and now the only piece of track which is anygood is right on the kerb.Be interested to know your thoughts.

Come on Steve, please tell me you are joking and you are100% clear that Zmarick should be excluded? 1 At the point of collition BOTH RIDERS WERE on their back wheel so its impossible to say they were 100% in control. 2 Nki had been pushed all over the place during the evening and he wasnt going to stay on after his first ride when he clearly had a chance of bailing out before he actually did,so fair play to him for trying to stay on his bike, but where did it get him? He wasnt going to make the same mistake twice and made sure the race was going to be stopped.Im sure he thought it was going to be all 4 so it was a big bonus for him to have the pole excluded. 3 I can 100% safely say that neigher rider was in contol when the incident happened so has to be all 4.Steve please have another look again, and if you have found somthing i have missed ,ill be happy to admit i was wrong, but the key fact that both riders were on the back wheel at the point of impact means you cant call it either way. -
King is a good rider, but too nice a rider, and the other nations riders know this.
