Whats the track going to be like tonight as here come the steady drizzle!!! im 6 miles from the track

Is stuart Douglas still the owner at Lakeside as heres been very quite recently,anyone seen him around the place lately?

Have to admit i was quite enjoying the racing and watching Chris Harris handle the track conditions was even more enjoyable,he never looked like making a mistake and just gave it 100%. Some riders acually look for ruts to fire themselves forward.Cant see any reason to blame the ruts,makes it interesting to see riders thinking how to attack the track,and not always racing on a billiard table surface.Anyone know if there was any kind of kerfew in place as to what time the meeting ends,and if the stadium was booked for sunday.I cant think of any other reason to call the meeting off.

Anyone know who the very proffessional" sounding "!!FIM JURY are who mad the call to call the meeting off.or was it someone else who called the meeting off?!! im confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there no rules set out to get a grand prix standard track?How does the world gov body give clearence on a track that has not been raced on? Seems bonkers to me that they didnt have to have a dress rehearsel with some kind of open meeting in order to get a grand prix standard licence to run the event!!!!

You cant blame lakeside as they were at full strenth,but surely we should follow other countries and have a "squad system" to allow riders to come in at short notice and teams to track riders in their own squad .why are we stuck in our ways and dont see the need to change? Its crazy,i love to know why we dont offer riders in the squad system,is it because of retainers and simply about money?But take Craig Cook for example,hes done great to get a team place in Poland,but he wont ride every sunday,so what kinda contract is he on and why cant we offer similar to overseas riders?

On the winners podium -Bech didnt ride -KK (kinda dint ride!!) But where was Troy for the Aussies? just forgot or?

Have i missed something but did Leicester use their second t/s ride?

Maybe next season we could have an intreval/whatever goes match race between sean and somone called roman!!! follow that up with Rob Tilbury v anyone who dares to race him!!!!

Surely lewis could have worked something out with Cam Woodward,who hes known for years and are both eastbourne assets.Maybe along the lines they could share the equipment 50/50 ,maybe cam has some engines still in use,I just cant beleive all avenues have gone down to find a solution.Maybe Meridian lifts can get lewis going!!!

Denis Sigalos was silky smooth a clean rider who could pass inside and out,and great tem man.as was cowboy cook. I grew up watching Andy Galvin,who was always in the thick of the action!!! A great racer and team rider. Kelly Moran was a pleasure to watch and talk to,sadly missed.

What i dont get is that Bridger had one of his best seasons in Speedway for Lakeside and he ends up quitting the sport at the endd of the season because in his words I fell out of love with speedway"".Surely the past season should have spurred him on to go even better this year,but it seems to have the opposite effect!!!.Whats he gonna do now work wise?

What about a yellow/red card system issued by start marchall and backed up by the ref.

Will ward get any restrictions on his passport,will this go down anywhere else on public record?

What would have happened if KK stayed on and completed 4 laps?!! most proberbly nothing,i still think its only G Broadie who has excluded a rider after a race has finished,and where did that come from after all those years where nothing was being done!!!.Ill think we will have to wait a number of years again before a ref excludes a rider after the race!!! which in my mind was totally wrong when it did happen.

Phillip,did anything happen in the pits when KK ran across the centre green and into the pits to find Nikki? Many KK reations tipped the balance in his favour when the ref saw that!!

With Tai,ithink hes been brought up the aussie way,where you fight tooth and nail to achieve their goals,If you look at riders like Harris,Holder,and tai,they are all easy going to speak to but once on a bke,a diff metal approash kicks in.

Not only that,but when he does win a race he celebrates like he has one some title or something!!!Then in his next ride goes back to dropping ths clutch 5 hours after everyone else!!! I made a rare visit to coventry this week and chris was superb value.Maybe hes just better riding in a team then on his own.

If this went to be herd in a court anywhere in the world what would the outcome be? Darcy has already had brushes with the law in the uk,and back in Australia,ALL with alcohol involved.i dont think he would get a slap on the wrist would he?!!!

Im most prob having a brain faid moment but who makes the Golden Tyre?

Does anyone know if Darcy has a manager,or a member of his pit crew(they all look young)that takes overall charge,like say in Emil S, Or T Gollob camps? .Like a lot of others have said,i love to watch him race,but surely people like Middlo whos been there and done,or even someone like Jason Crump would be ideal for him,because Darcy wouldnt dare step out of line.

Darcy must be around Chris Holder and the other GP boys,but i just dont understand him having Alcohol on a GP weekend,Surely Holder or whoever must see this and warn him of his actions.Also being sponsored by Monster,why the hell didnt he drink their products to stop him dehydrating? ITS LABELLED MONSTER ENERGY so if any drink can do the trick that can. Does anyone else think that there must be some other staff mixed in to get a bad test,i cant see Dacy sitting in a public resturant with the GP circus in town drinking alcohol,surely hes not that stupid!!

Hope one of the promoters send him an invite to a meeting,maybe Jon Cook could get him down to lakeside,on the promise of a go on a speedway bike!!! I can see the headlines now............................!!!
