  1. The request to Poole's REF Committee has already been made.
  2. It would be a little harsh to make a signing announcement immeadiately. As Danny Ford says, there are a few options available so no doubt discussions are already taking place.
  3. Crashed practicing at Scunny yesterday. Ribs, neck and lungs all damaged.
  4. Best wishes to JT. Poole have 5.21 to utilise for a replacement if required?! Or around 6 to 7 ish (if someone like Hans Batch or Nicol available) if they make 2 changes and replace a reserve with a 2 pointer!!
  5. So is Buster not intending to sell the club now?
  6. As long as no Championship club has had to help finance it! There is no way he can or will be at every Premiership meeting - maybe just the televised ones, as part of his remit is to make the TV meetings 'more entertaining' for the viewer!!
  7. In order to spend more the club would need to charge more, which would just as likely reduce the crowd. Especially if its on an 'off' race night and especially as 'better' riders don't always mean better racing!! The more important issue is the longer term availability of the stadium. Once that is secured, then who knows.......?!
  8. Can't remember that far back to be honest!!! A big fish in any size pond seems to summarise their recent achievements!
  9. In which case I won't be there as I will be travelling back from Europe. Missing Steve Worralls testimonial too!!!
  10. Yes you are right of course. Havvy is doing the 'Northern weekend' meetings.
  11. Surely they have to get the track re-inspected and re-licensed?! I know every club does, but the inspection is always more detailed when there has been a lot of work done!
  12. Anyway back on topic - as a matter of interest what are the P&P arrangements at Birmingham and Plymouth?
  13. As for any future SGP in Australia, one of the bigger problems is to find a Promoter willing to take the financial risks wherever its held - notwithstanding whatever assistance maybe on offer from Discovery?!
  14. Thats reserved for meeting and club sponsors. Not sure the stadium stewards would allow that many season ticket holders onto centregreen? H&S and all that - again different if you own your own stadium!
  15. Adults £19.00 Seniors (65yrs and above) * £16.00 Concessions (disability or on benefits) * £16.00 Student (16yrs or over with Student ID card) * £10.00 Child (11-16yrs) * £6.00 Child (under 11) * FREE * proof may be required Sorry got the kids ages wrong.. Copied and pasted from Pirates website. Thanks for all your concerns - especially from the stalkers.
  16. No wonder James Sargeant decided to pack it in!!
  17. So much easier when you own your own stadium and can control rental costs! To open the whole stadium for all fans for p&p could cost the same rental as for a full meeting, if you have particularly difficult stadium owners. Allowing sponsors and season ticket holders to attend p&p is one of the little 'thank yous' available to those that give the club their committed financial support upfront. Incidentally Poole's 2023 prices are only Adult £19; Seniors & Concessions £16; Students (16+) £10; Kids under 11 - Free! Hardly 'money-grabbing' by the current League and Cup champions compared to most other Championship clubs!!!
  18. Yes but with strong Poole connections. Anyway you just concentrate on young(ish) Mr Turner. He could do very well for you - but then again......?
  19. I meant ZK IN 21 and HA in 22. Sorry for the confusion. What with Crumpy and Bjarne also in 21, there are so many Poole assets riding for other teams one tends to lose track!
