  1. What? what have I put that is incorrect? They were at Poole on Friday.
  2. BSPA redeclared GSAs as of yesterday (Issue 4) shows Becker back in the 1-7.
  3. The official green sheet declarations Issue 4 (10.4.23) does not have Summers listed. It is as I stated earlier.
  4. The only change in the Premiership Rider declarations as of yesterday is Wolves reverting back to include Becker. All other 1-7s are the same.
  5. Random checks and tests! They can happen at any track at any time.
  6. So 2 teams built in similar ways, each with 3 strong heat leaders assuming Nicholls recovers from his 'knock' in Poland?! Hope all the spot checks and any tests go well. Should be a good close meeting.
  7. Nothing wrong with a bit of "drama", rather then the continual 'family sport' message that has clearly worked so well over many years!!!
  8. Maybe the Plymouth website will give an early decision? Mind you they haven't even given a meeting preview yet!!
  9. Surprisingly, it could be argued that it was partially because of Scotty that it became a lost cause!!?
  10. The stadium's new website makes for interesting viewing. www.poolestadium.co.uk I guess the 'new' events would be at weekends so as not to disturb the school next door during the day. Just hope they don't damage the track!! Nb. I note 'The Chunkfest' event on Sat June 24 is aimed at wheelchair sports participants amongst others?! Poole Stadium is renowned for its wheelchair-friendly facilities!!!!
  11. Yes I corrected it! I nearly put twenty to eight!!!! It's been a long day..........
  12. There was even huge applause when Killeen came down but managed to get off the track to avoid a stoppage.
  13. That's almost ten to nine!! A bit late to start a meeting.
  14. For those suggesting Zagar and/or Tungate, what if their Polish clubs won't allow them?
  15. Apparently last season BSN had some complaints that Poole were featured too often!! That's the problem when a team progresses in all competitions.
  16. ...and no so-called 'big International or GP stars' for Oxford or Poole!! Long may it continue..............
  17. One of his family 'mentors' was the late Gordon Day, Poole Pirates Historian and former P.R.O.!
  18. What a great night. Superb crowd and atmosphere - and some terrific music choices from our dj. 'What's new pussy cat' for the Cheetahs parade and 'Eye of the tiger' for Kerr's one heat win (after last night's handbags with MPT)! My only question was the use of a t/r in a two legged meeting with an aggregate bonus point??? Just well it made little difference.
  19. 3 group winners plus the best runner-up go into 2 semi finals.
  20. Since he last raced in UK, KK has lost at least one senior key member from his UK-based management and support team, so unfortunately this comes as no surprise.
  21. As there is not yet a seperate thread for the Gladiators v Pirates meeting on Tuesday 11th April (I'll leave that to a Plymouth fan.....), can anyone confirm that the 'special offer' from Shale Events Ltd of a voucher worth £5 for this meeting , is all above board? Its been on Facebook for the last few days, as Shale Events are supposedly the meeting sponsors on Tuesday. Just checking due to the recent, very public history of the 'Weston Rebels'!! Well done if the offer is accurate, and has the full support of the Plymouth club, as there is nothing on the club website at the moment.!
  22. Unfortunately, due to illness, only 2 generations attending now!! Still should be a good attendance and the usual great atmosphere!
  23. A bit of track practice today for those that could make it. Looking forward to tomorrow - 3 generations of the Skidder family in attendance!!
