  1. I think the most interesting discussion point is likely to be how many times TJ, Flint and former Pirate Schlein can beat current Poole heat leaders Lawson, Worrall and Cook?
  2. Not entirely sure as haven't seen the report yet, but it involved some kind of altercation with one of the opposition riders who got a yellow card!! Update: apparently after Heat 8 in which Steve scored his 2+1, there was some off-track argument with Oscar Polis. Steve hit him and Polis responded with a kick and the ref dished out the red and yellow cards (probably a Glasgow fan?)
  3. Doesn't seem a lot of interest in this fixture despite BSN streaming it LIVE tomorrow? Plymouth Promoters are always praising their track for the great racing(?), so it'll be interesting to see how both teams get on?! Both teams look to be at full strength, so........ Any thoughts or interest?
  4. Let's hope Steve Worralls Polish Red card yesterday doesn't affect him too much.
  5. TMS and the highlights of this Ashes series have been the best way to get the fantastic atmosphere.
  6. I'm pretty sure the track was a lot worse - certainly more holes then - when Magic and the Turbo Twins were kings of Wimborne Road, they just knew where they were and rode through or around them, as did many regular visiting riders.
  7. What's that got to do with the BSN final 2nd leg? Asking for a friend.......
  8. What's the relevance of the Ippo track to this topic? And just out of interest which Cook do you reckon isn't a gater? Incidentally when were you last at Poole in the past few seasons, as you seem to think you know as much about Poole as you think you know about Ippo?! Or are you just back to your trolling ways when Poole were winning everything in the Elite League?
  9. You sound like Tommy Cooper "Just like that......"!
  10. With Matt Ford present on Wednesday all the Poole riders will want to score heavily.
  11. Not forgetting the possibility of Rye House also!
  12. I must say I'm loving all these posts about Poole on the Glasgow2023 thread!!
  13. Yep sure do. One poor season 14 years ago now but so many trophies and great crowds since, except when we ran on Thursdays!
  14. Yet here you are again on a Poole thread!! Were you banned for 6 weeks?
  15. Aah my stalker has resurfaced, what a surprise?! ps. Lewy, any truth in the whisper that D.Thompson is not signing for your team?
  16. I think Garry May probably has a good idea! (BTW Happy Birthday for tomorrow Garry)
  17. Do you mean Glasgow fans only turn up for a good result? I thought from all the posts on the Poole thread, that they turn up for the racing between 2 top teams, rather than the score?!
  18. ....and yet Poole continue to usually win at home and a fair few away whilst also winning trophies - and the crowds still come in very good numbers (good enough for the club to remain viable) - even to meetings when season ticket holders have to pay!! As for the track, on the BSN track walk, James Wright said it was in immaculate condition, despite being under water after the previous nights deluge.
  19. It's amazing that the likes of Redcar and Scunthorpe come to Poole's so-called 'carp track' and manage to make much more of a contest of it by scoring over 40 points respectively?! Yet a so-called 'top team' simply capitulated.
