  1. Lewis Kerr (5.73) drops to reserve (when fit) in August.
  2. The last time that Anders will be at 2 and Kyle at 6 - at least for a month!!?
  3. SCB hearing was to be this week I believe, but now rescheduled to 16/8
  4. At least the Morris/guest situation should become clearer by the new date with his SCB hearing scheduled for tomorrow (unless it's rained off)! Incidentally the new averages for August show Morris back in the Brummies 1-7. (and Starke dropping to reserve?!)!!
  5. Didn't Pirates TV use a drone on P&P day?
  6. There was originally a whisper that August 30th might be a 75th Anniversary meeting? In fact it did appear on the initial BSPL fixture list but isn't there now.
  7. Because theyd promised Worrall his testimonial and Matt Ford wouldnt renege on it when the points limit was dropped from 42 to 40 points.
  8. That's as much down to the management then. When he rode for Poole last year he not only team rode but also topped the averages with Worrall.
  9. As third heat leader, one might question why he's in heats13 and 15??
  10. His 2 wins in the BSN Series were in heats where Steve Worrall and Ben Cook respectively both fell!!!
  11. They were allowed a facility - guests upto 75% of the riders average. Despite being forced into accepting the rearranged fixture in the first place.
  12. Probably Dickson s way of ensuring Bowtell gets his 7 rides. Schlein, Sedgman, Neilsen, Batchelor, Starke, Hagon, Bowtell.
  13. The successful teams are often kept hanging around by opponents who can't/don't complete their fixtures on time or won't agree fixture dates due to rider availability.
  14. You can still achieve that in the seated areas as long as you dont leave it til 7.30 to get in! There's not really any decent positions around the stadium bends to sit without the risk of people standing and blocking your view. There is the area at track level in front of the grandstand on the home straight - several wheelchair users are positioned there amongst those standing. Not sure what the attendance will be like although Poole haven't had a home meeting for a fortnight and it is the school hols and the first opportunity to welcome back the BSN Series Champions!! Enjoy.
  15. Don't think you,ll need a camping chair as there is plenty of unreserved seating either in the main grandstand or behind glass in the backstraight stand built for the now non-existent greyhounds.
  16. Cant they double up the Sheffield v Wolves meeting on 24th August?
  17. pits access is from 6.30pm til 7pm prompt. Gates open at 6.30 so I suggest you get near the front of the queue
  18. There are no meetings on anyway - as should be the case in WC week!
  19. I don't get the negativity about Danny King. He's in the 1-7 as 3rd heat leader and pretty much scoring his average or above regularly? So many posters complain about teams changing every year with no continuity, but here you have a local, established rider doing what he was brought in to do!! Have a (rightful?) go at the management and team building!!
  20. Well in the Pirates graphic promoting Wednesdays meeting they are using a pic of Steve Worrall so I guess we are just waiting for the weather.......
  21. Only because they are in opposition again on Sunday.
  22. If he has his family with him, asked for and received permission from his club in advance as there was originally no scheduled meeting in World Cup week, I can't see the issue. Wolves are being made to fulfill the fixture because Sheffield have no other dates ( apparently)!! I thought it was the home team to be penalised if they can't fulfill fixtures - not the away team!?
  23. Poole had a load of new shale delivered in June which was being introduced onto the track in weekly lots so was likely to be differently prepared for each meeting.
