  1. Always good to witness a bit of Scottish in-fighting between fans!! (3 emojis in case anyone is offended?) and another for luck!
  2. Lawson said after the meeting and in the post-meeting report that the track was not how they expected it to be! Reckons it'll be different (better?) for next Wednesday!
  3. So not far off. Decent meeting. Track left a bit to be desired but same for both teams. Well done to Scunthorpe and Dougie and Drew in particular.
  4. So Plymouth seeking a Commercial Manager to bring in more funds to allow them to compete in 2024. Planning to run Saturdays (or Tuesdays when it's a GP weekend) for which permission already given by SCB, and to be ratified at BSPL AGM in Tenerife in November!
  5. Not sure that many Poole fans are 'writing off Scunthorpe'? Scunny have riders who go well at Wimborne Road so Pirates will all have to be 100% on it to get a decent lead (No pressure!!), as this could turn out to be a real 'banana skin of a meeting'! Its a bit overcast today but no rain forecast and no hot sun which should make track prep a little easier. Lets go Racing.........!
  6. Yeah but only managed 2x3rd places compared to 7 points on his previous visit!!
  7. So whats the rule for using guests in the play-offs? Can a rider only guest for one team, assuming the 8-day guest rule also still applies?!
  8. Not sure Zach Cook is 100% fit with his arm injury, so could be a bit less one-sided.
  9. Very clever and astute by the Glasgow promotion. Its within the rules so expect it to be tweaked at the AGM. Matt Ford would be both annoyed and proud!
  10. I asked the original question (Thanks for your response) as the wording on the BSPL 'Basic League Info' section on their website reads differently - and therefore confusingly - to the SCB rules. I have emailed the BSPL office this morning for clarification/confirmation.
  11. So no t/s in the play offs and any guests have to come from the bottom 3 teams!!
  12. Any estimated attendance for last night? I watched on BSN but it was difficult to assess!
  13. Yeah I think Poole would probably like to miss Wednesday 27th for a home meeting too!!
  14. Wenesday 20th could also be a problem as its the Danish League playoff final!!
  15. With BSN supposedly covering all the playoffs I cant see Poole and Oxford both being at home on Wednesday 13th! And with the rider comments from Scunny I guess it'll be Poole v Scunthorpe on Wednesday.lets see.....
  16. I was actually supporting Mark Phillips action and have a fair idea of where his head is at the moment! Let's see.......
  17. .....because Poland have priority on Sunday fixtures.
  18. I doubt Mark Phillips will pay any fine, he'll just withdraw Plymouth from the League in 2024 and join the NORA set-up! Its highly likely that he would do that anyway prior to any SCB punishment.
  19. Poole confirm they will be at home next Wednesday 13th September against, as yet, unknown play-off opposition, But all potential play-off clubs are in agreement!! NB, Are there any Danish play-off fixtures next Wednesday that may affect anyone's availability? PS, How's Vissing after his crash in Denmark last night? Zach Cook has had to withdraw from the Wolves team tonight after his heat 14 off at Edinburgh.
  20. to be fair after his last few meetings, his services weren't up to much anyway!! However to be serious, the guy has some major health issues to overcome, and for his own good and others, he should have to pass some sort of approved health exam before being allowed back.
  21. So in your scenario are you keeping the same fixed racenights? Not sure Glasgow would suit that?
