My earlier point was that Complin was going to be there anyway. The added 'plus' apart from him being 'local' was his average was the best available to guest!
Not the only alternative, but currently the best of the 2 pointers (2.13) and is familiar with most of the Pirates from last season, for the continuing team spirit!
Complin was going to be there anyway as he was driving Havvy to the meeting. As it was a short notice booking what's better than using a local guest rider!? You can hardly expect someone like Ablitt to travel all the way up from Hastings!!

IMO, If Oxford do finish top, then they are unlikely to choose Poole, Glasgow or Redcar in the play-offs. So Oxford ,Scunthorpe and whoever finishes 6th.
